If I could give 10 stars, I would. I just enjoyed one of the most exquisite dinners. From the beautiful location to the impeccable service, not a detail was missed. Let's start with the cocktails and wine, the list is impeccable. Absolutely beautiful wines and spirits with Alessandro bravely commandeering cocktails. Both alcoholic and not. Then the meal. This is a small temple of refined cuisine in the province of Bergamo. Ran as a family business, San Martino is a Michelin 1-star restaurant, specializing in fish and seafood. The dishes are unmistakably Italian, but with refined touches that come from many cuisine styles worldwide. The wine list is excellent. Thanks also to the small size and the warm atmosphere, dining at San Martino is a pleasure. Not a cheap pleasure by any measure (a complete dinner with wine is in the 120 EUR per person range), but absolutely well spent. No regrets. Lunch and Dinner The service is very good with their language skills: French, English and Spanish with intensive knowledge of wine and pioneer spirits of food. The little surprise I had, dolci while the place got busy but without ordering anything was a magical to me. It was so thoughtful. The beef slice with raisin sauce was just an art.
