Ravioli with pesto and ricotta!
Steve C.

I cannot find one single thing wrong with this place. Great ambience, great food, great service, an incredible variety of choice. We shared a Caprese salad and then had the ravioli with pesto and ricotta. So so good. We will come back here next time in this amazing city.

While traveling Spain we visited this gem of a restaurant and loved it so much the wife I had to return for a second dinner. Service was exceptional and the food was beyond amazing. The Tarta Queso is a must to complete your meal.

Delicious!!! Absolutely loved my dinner here with my boyfriend as a tourist. I made reservations in advance and got seated promptly. We ordered the spaghetti carbonara and the pesto pasta, garlic bread and cheesecake. All these dishes were fantastic except for the garlic bread which didn't have much garlic taste. But regardless, service and rest of the food was amazing. I will definitely come back next time I am in town.

Smoked salmon roll

Excellent Italian/Mediterranean restaurant in the center of Seville that was recommended by my nearby hotel. Best meal I had in town. I sat on the lower level in the "cave like" area for the proper mood and began my meal with the complimentary cheese--very good. Had the smoked salmon roll for the appetizer followed by the Rigatoni Norma that was excellent. Good glass of red wine to wash it down followed by a tasty chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream.

Black squid ink spaghetti with prawns, cod and lemon.

We stumbled upon this eatery over by the Catedral. Great choice when you are tired of tapas. The restaurant is set in an old bath house. The menu had a lot of variety and the prices were good. The service was excellent. very old world. The caprese salad had plumb tasty tomatoes. The Spanish olive oil is delicious. We ordered the tasting menu, about 6 courses. That is the biggest bang for your bucks if you can eat it all. The black squid ink spaghetti with prawns and cod and lemon was absolutely delicious. the flavors were infused and the dish was amazing. An incredible meal at an incredible price. Shh... don't tell them. 3.5 Euros for a glass of house wine is unheard of.

Spinach ravioli and leg of lamb

I just had the best meal I've had in Spain so far - after two and a half weeks. Everything about it was great: the food, the service and the setting. You could be forgiven for skipping past it's quiet alley location, lacking the enticing sidewalk seating of many nearby restaurants. You'll be rewarded for going in. What initially seems like an impossibly tiny basement location opens up into an large, two level, open and immaculate space. Our servers were great - not seeming to care who served us last - whoever was close at hand jumped to the opportunity to quickly fulfill our requests. Everything we were served was beautiful and delicious, including: caprese salad, spinach ravioli, leg of lamb and molten chocolate cake. On to the pictures ...

Our check for Dinner for 2 a La carte

Stumbled upon this hidden jewel as I walked a side street Attempted to make Rez by phone but they didn't answer so we showed up when they opened for dinner and offered front table at entrance despite motioning to sit in the back at the entry dining room of the multi level restaurant. Accepted our table in "Siberia" and had very prompt service as it seems the kitchen is most efficient and wants to rush diners in and out to maximize their turnover of the tables. Food is excellent and well prepared especially when you are tired of eating tapas meals on a trip to Sevilla. Service was very pleasant and despite not ordering the prix fixe set menu which is an incredible value, our meals for 2 was still very reasonable even with drinks Would recommend reservations They get very busy!

Truly the best meal and dining experience we had in our two week trip to Spain, do not miss! After touring the Cathedral, and being hot and hungry, the atmosphere of this restaurant was so inviting, cool and lovely. Multi levels, fresh flowers and classy. The menu was extensive, prices were reasonable and the food was over the top! I don't recall the names on the menu, but we enjoyed prawn avocado salad, warm goat cheese salad, Caprese salad, lasagne bolognese, fettuccine and walnut alfredo agnolotti. Everything was amazing! I wish I had more photos but we were too busy eating. The service was the true embodiment of hospitality. Adolfo was attentive, informative and went above and beyond to ensure our experience was top-notch. If we had more time, we would visit this gem again!

Sprimp and mussels pizza

Best food we had in Sevilla and top contender for best food we had in Spain. We where nervous to try Italian in Spain. We tried it in Madrid and it was terrible but this place is a gem. Not only is the food delicious but the service is superior. The staff is super attentive. We had one of their pizzas and an Appetizer( it's the one with mussels and sprimp) so delicious. For pasta we tried their seafood spagetting tinto with mussels, and spring it was delicious. And the carbonara, best I have ever had. We tried their famous desert. Chocolate crepe(amazing) crepe with icecream inside.

Lovely place. Sitting upstairs isn't as romantic as sitting downstairs. I didn't have a reservation so was just happy to be seated. Excellent service. Loved the beef carpaccio for appetizer. Husband loved the lasagna. My ravioli was a little salty.

Best meal I've had in Seville. Great Italian spot right in the middle of town. The service was very fast (20 minutes from order to table), and our server, Aldalfo, was fantastic. Very clean, chill, and enjoyable restaurant. The raviolis were perfect, as were the drinks and apps. This meal was everything I hoped it would be and more. I HIGHLY recommend.

I have no idea how this place has a 4 star. Staff is friendly, plenty of vegetarian and carne options. Great price and awesome atmosphere. Our server Celia was amazing!

Ostería L'Oca Giuliva - Tagliatelle Tartufo 16,50€ for mushy canned mushrooms and no truffle flavor. Nor any shaved cheese!

L'Oca Giuliva is okay. Yes just okay. Actually it is a TTT restaurant (tourist trap type) trying to…read moredisguise itself as an authentic Italian. We should have known better as the location screamed "come on in to a charmingly decorated restaurant and pay outrageous prices for a pretend authentic Italian meal". Oh well, our fault. We were short of time as we were catching our train for a five hour journey. Obviously planning on a satisfying meal for lunch. Service was just that. Service. No big smiles welcoming us in. No friendly greeting. No explanation of the menu. No suggestions. Though the interior had only three tables occupied and one table occupied outdoors, we definitely did not feel like we were treated as guests who would be spending 60€ for lunch (food only, no beer or wine). Not that the food was real bad but so many things were lacking to make it even good. First off, they plop a small paper sack of two hard as a rock bread rolls in frint of you. No explanation. Drop and go. Yep, remember its not free. This practice sucks and should be illegal. You will pay 3,80€ to gnaw on stale bread while hoping you don't break a tooth or make the roof of your mouth raw. I know, it was our choice to go ahead and eat it, but since we had decided to have only one meal today, we were very hungry by 13:30h. I had no idea it would cost 3,80€. At most this day old should cost 1,50€, no actually it should be free! You are also served a few black olives (strange as in Italy I have only been served green). Olive oil, wine vinegar and salt & pepper was on the table. Good thing for the oil since soaking the stale bread in the oil helped us swallow. But...wine vinegar? At an Italian restaurant?? Where is the balsamic? Strange. Our starter was the Caprese Salad. In my attached photo, I actually 'dressed it up' on my own with oil, vinegar, salt & pepper. Oh my. Look at this. For 15,90€ we got a PLAIN sliced not ripe flavorless tomato and a round of simple mozzarella cheese with a decortive teeny sprig of basil. How pathetic! What would this cost you at the local Consum grocery?? Possibly 1,20€ for two tomatoes (though this was most likely only one and a half tomatoes) and 3,50€ for a ball of mozzarella. Not even quality Burrata cheese!! No flavor. No basil. No herbs. No pesto. No balsalmic reduction. No SOMETHING to enhance the empty flavor. And the price. Oh my. For our mains, we both chose off the 'fresh pasta' menu. Again this is PASTA and each dish was quite pricey. Mine was the Tagliatelle Tartufo. Not even FRESH mushrooms. Really. Canned mushy 'shrooms were stirred into my pasta with maybe a bit of truffle oil to pretend to taste like truffles. No shaved truffles. No truffle flakes. No offer of Parmigiano cheese - which is always offered on a pasta dish. No one ever came by to offer any shaved cheese. No twirling spoon. How is this an ITALIAN restaurant??? And the price? For a fist size portion...16,50€. YIKES! Husband ordered the Ravioli Pecorino Pere. At least it was flavorful with the butter and thyme sauce. But the pear stuffing was very limited. These were the flatest - or least filled ravioli we have ever seen. An easy way to stretch their costs but still offer the dish. This cost, crazy at 16,90€ Bottom line, this is more like a VERY overpriced fast food Italian. They are definitely not using Nonna's old original recipes. L'Oca Giuliva is here in the tourist trap area of Seville to do just that. TRAP you into paying absolute crazy high prices then having the nerve upon checkout with the credit card reader to ask for a tip to be added to your tab. Come on. This is Spain. Tipping culture doesn't work like that. It is not a requirement!!! We leave a few Euros IF we feel service/food/experience was exceptional. Our experience was none of these. (And I do know this as I am a permanent resident of Spain since 2018. Please don't TRAP your guests like this. Simply stop!) Visit was Thursday January 16, 2025 at 13:30h

You definitely want to RSVP in advance. We saw multiple people being turned away, as they were fully booked. The all white theme decor was cute and instagram-able. We shared a few dishes to get our hands on their best dishes. The Mortadella Pistachio Pizza was outstanding. Fiordilatte, pistachio cream, bologna mortadella, provolone and ricotta. We balanced out the pizza, with the Natural Salad, young sprouts, Burgos cheese, blueberries, raisins, almonds, pistachios, sunflower seeds. Make a Resy, get there early, and enjoy a nice walk to and from your hotel.

If you want an authentic Italian pizza, try that one. Also, make sure you have a drink at the EME hotel afterwards (same building). They have a rooftop bar with one of the best skylines of Sevilla.

The menu outside and the inner ambiance (and the fact that the place was mostly empty, so we could easily get a table) called to us, so we decided to check this place out. Let it be known that a mostly empty restaurant does not mean the food will be so-so! My husband and I agreed that this place has the BEST pizza we've had anywhere! It's light, flavorful, thin and crispy, and just down-right delicious! Ostia Antica has a menu that has English descriptions, making it foreigner-friendly if you don't speak or read Spanish, and a ton of vegetarian and allergy friendly options (they have allergies listed out next to each dish on the menu). I ordered the pizza vegetal (vegetable pizza), which was vegetarian and awesome (with or without the chili oil- which I would recommend if you want to add heat/spice to your food) and my husband (not vegetarian) got the pizza iberica (recommended to him by our waitress). He said his pizza was super flavorful and amazing. The ambiance is quiet (probably because there were only a few other couples there) and cool. They also played a good music selection that added to the "chill" vibe. Finally, the waitstaff was amazing. They were really attentive, switched to English when they noticed us struggling with our Spanish, and were so nice (and funny!). We'll definitely be going back and would highly recommend this place!
