Italian inspired restaurant, with a Sevilla flair, really knocks it out of the park with a wide variety of delectable dishes, phenomenal service, and very interesting set up deep in the heart of the old downtown. We would certainly return. We ordered the spaghetti carbonara and the pesto pasta,garlic bread and cheesecake. All these dishes were fantastic except for the garlic bread which didn't have much garlic taste. Cuttlefish ink spaghetti - The seafood was amazingly fresh. I've had many cod fish with spaghetti before, but the texture is so crisp and you can't taste any fishy taste. Very fresh. I sat on the lower level in the "cave like" area for the proper mood and began my meal with the complimentary cheese--very good. This place was amazing! The food was delicious. I ordered the oxtail and it was so good. I was choosing between a couple of things and that was the one the server recommended. And he did not steer me wrong! Speaking of the Servers, he was so attentive, the whole staff was. The restaurant itself was very well set up and nice. I was eating alone so I was sat right at the top of the stairs and could see the whole restaurant. It is huge, but since it's separated into little rooms feels small and intimate. I ordered the chocolate cake and vanilla ice cream for dessert on a whim and it was sooo good! It was a chocolate lava cake with Icecream (which makes me understand why the menu said it would take 15 minutes) it is a fresh lava cake made the traditional way. You must get it! We stumbled upon this eatery over by the Catedral. Great choice when you are tired of tapas. The restaurant is set in an old bath house. The menu had a lot of variety and the prices were good. The service was excellent. very old world. The caprese salad had plumb tasty tomatoes. The Spanish olive oil is delicious. We ordered the tasting menu, about 6 courses. That is the biggest bang for your bucks if you can eat it all. The black squid ink spaghetti with prawns and cod and lemon was absolutely delicious. the flavors were infused and the dish was amazing. You could be forgiven for skipping past it's quiet alley location, lacking the enticing sidewalk seating of many nearby restaurants. You'll be rewarded for going in. What initially seems like an impossibly tiny basement location opens up into an large, two level, open and immaculate space. Stumbled upon this hidden jewel as I walked a side street Attempted to make Rez by phone but they didn't answer so we showed up when they opened for dinner and offered front table at entrance despite motioning to sit in the back at the entry dining room of the multi level restaurant. Accepted our table in "Siberia" and had very prompt service as it seems the kitchen is most efficient and wants to rush diners in and out to maximize their turnover of the tables. Food is excellent and well prepared especially when you are tired of eating tapas meals on a trip to Sevilla. Truly the best meal and dining experience we had in our two week trip to Spain, do not miss! After touring the Cathedral, and being hot and hungry, the atmosphere of this restaurant was so inviting, cool and lovely. Multi levels, fresh flowers and classy. The menu was extensive, prices were reasonable and the food was over the top! I don't recall the names on the menu, but we enjoyed prawn avocado salad, warm goat cheese salad, Caprese salad, lasagne bolognese, fettuccine and walnut alfredo agnolotti. Everything was amazing! I wish I had more photos but we were too busy eating. The service was the true embodiment of hospitality. Best food we had in Sevilla and top contender for best food we had in Spain. We where nervous to try Italian in Spain. We tried it in Madrid and it was terrible but this place is a gem. Not only is the food delicious but the service is superior. The staff is super attentive. We had one of their pizzas and an Appetizer( it's the one with mussels and sprimp) so delicious. For pasta we tried their seafood spagetting tinto with mussels, and spring it was delicious. And the carbonara, best I have ever had. We tried their famous desert. We dined here for lunch at the recommendation of our hotel which was nearby. The are a small place serving Mediterranean ( mostly Italian) food in a small subterranean space). Our reservation was for 2 pm and we were seated at a nice table on a raised area straight inside. Almost immediately a bowl of olives were brought to the table and a puffed up pizza crust (bread) with olive oil. They also brought a small tray with cheese and crunchy small bits like bread sticks. Other than the olives, I'm not sure if all those extras were standard. They've got an expansive menu featuring lots of house made pasta, a variety of pizza and tons on first course items. Given all the bonus food we just ordered a pizza and some ravioli with the special house-made "San Marco" sauce, a tomato/basil/cream mixture that was quite good. English speaking waiters attended to us and we had no communication challenges. Given the large selection of great choices, we just may have to get back in there before we leave Seville.... In fact before I could finish and post this review, we did go back, this time for dinner. Same great staff, service and menu. I had the lasagne this time and my wife the spaghetti Amatriciana with a starter course of prawns (head on) and avocado "salad"- all good. A great choice for lunch read more

First patrons in, but many taken care of before us. Ordered 2 glasses of wine, watched as other tables got their drinks delivered. "Sorry for delay" from cold effete waitress. Ask that the waiter or Maitre D give us 2 minutes after learning lobster pasta needed to be ordered a day in advance-never came back, had to ask to order food. A local guitarist rotated from spot to spot around the dining area playing light, airy, appropriate music for the dining setting, and created such an old world flavor that it seemed to make the food better! Extremely happy with our decision to get dinner here. Delicious Italian food with an upscale ambiance at a cheap price. Can it get any better? Because we did not have a reservation (I would rec making one) we had to wait a bit, and ended up getting not the best seat. However, our not great table was more than made up for by the host/our table sever, Omar. Omar was attentive and had excellent wine and meal suggestions, taking time to give his personal favorites. The food was literally the best we have had in Seville our whole trip (get the duck! Wonderful set menu for Christmas Eve. Started with a cream of shrimp soup. Those of us who love shrimp, loved it. The ravioli with mushrooms was the best dish of the evening. Rich and flavorful. Glad we saved some bread to have with it. Next course was an amazing duck in a very mild orange sauce. Outstanding! Vegetables that accompanied it were great and the pear on the side was heavenly. All of us were captivated by the pear! The dessert was good, but not great. Plenty of wine throughout made for a nice treat. The girls had a nice white wine and I had the red. The white was way too sweet for me, but the red was just perfect. The champagne that followed was the perfect end to the evening.
