The McIntyre Square is a quaint place with a good selection of shops and restaurants. It's very visible from Fwy 10 off of Citrus Ave in Covina. Funny, I never noticed it until one day a group of Yelpie friends and I came here to dine at Thumbling. I drive on Fwy 10 all the time. It has Dave's Hot Chicken that isn't a drive-thru. 85 Bakery and Juice n Bowls are here, too. There may be a few other shops that may be of my interest. I'll have to return one day to walk through this square to explore more and find out. See you here!

Anyway, Citrus Crossing is a huge shopping center with big and small businesses (shown below) located in the City of Azusa. It's in very close vicinity to Azusa Pacific University... literally diagonally across the street. Tons of free parking. It's anchored by a grocery store, a movie theater, and good restaurants. There's PLENTY of parking since it's such a huge plaza, but it can get quite busy with all of the cars going in and out. The main intersection you enter in and out can get REALLY ugly with cars not following right of way, the lanes to turn left backing up into the intersection, etc., so if I can avoid it and just exit near the UPS Store I would. I feel like at a certain point they really should put traffic lights there, but on dead times it's not so bad honestly. As for other things, sometimes there's vagrants wandering around (camping behind the Salvation Army), one time a guy was peeing outside of his car, the letters are always being stolen from the Heights sign, and there used to be car meets here before they were shut down. I just really like that this place is quite close to me.

Parking is fine especially if you come early, but once you hit peak hours, it will be a challenge to snatch a parking spot. I've been lucky to have gotten parking every time I come here. Remember, patience is key! For the number of tenants here, there should be more parking IMHO. I personally have only visited and supported most of the businesses within Haven City Market and GW Supermarket. As for the other ones, I'll have to plan future visits to offer my patronage. The curve is actually a separate area located at the doorstep of Eastland center. Four eateries in an actual curve configuration starting with Islands restaurant, Chipotle, Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Jollibee. From the main entrance on N Barranca St intersection make a right, right, right and you're there. Plenty of parking with some tree shaded spots. Jollibee has a convenient drive thru or designated pick up parking spaces for online orders. Among a concentrated shopping center this curve is an oasis for some reasonably priced refreshment and nourishment.

I decided to walk the grounds. I dined in for breakfast at Corner Bakery and got some flavorful smoothies to-go from Robeks Juice. I wanted to spend more time here, but I had to go pick up my car. I enjoyed my amazing morning very much and met a couple nice people along the way.
