They are located right on Mission so you have to park on the street. My mom and I walked in and were greeted by the owner. He seemed hesitant to talk to us at first, I'm not sure why but he was very short with us. We began asking for prices about some of his displays, he had a lot of the teddy bears built out of artificial flowers, very beautiful. He let us know he gets his flowers in downtown LA and he gets the best roses, grade 80. I am not too well versed in flowers but I understood what he meant. He also mentioned he could get any color or arrangement we needed very quickly. We asked if he had any more flowers than the ones outside, since there was very limited displayed except for the bears and about 3 arrangements. I wanted to just buy carnations and roses and make my own arrangement. After establishing rapport he took us to the back of the shop and showed us all the flowers. He said he bought this location so he could expand.. which sounded great, sounds like it will be a nice place. He said they mostly sell to restaurant at the moment until they start selling locally. I was impressed with the quality of the flowers. My tip for the business is to have more flowers in the front, to show them so customers can pick them out. I mean we were just looking at artificial bears and not many flowers. They also didn't have that fridge that most flower shops have to show fresh flower arrangements. I think they're just getting started but I really think they need to showcase and have an appealing look to captivate the customers. Other than that, looking forward to coming here once they are all ready to go and seem more organized.

I have seen fuller, more thoughtfully arranged flowers at a grocery store for a fraction of the price. If I had been shown the finished product BEFORE paying, I would have NEVER purchased it. Unfortunately, I paid over the phone when I placed the order, so they already had my money by the time I saw what $50 apparently gets you here. THREE CARNATIONS. Let that sink in. For $50, I expected a beautiful, full, professionally designed flower crown--not something that looked thrown together with a few inexpensive flowers and filler. The finished product showed such little effort that I genuinely could not understand how anyone could look at it and confidently charge a customer $50. There is a huge difference between running a business to make a profit and completely taking advantage of a paying customer. If you're going to charge premium prices, then your work should reflect premium quality. This absolutely did not. I feel completely ripped off. Save your money and GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. And if you do decide to order from here, DO NOT PAY IN ADVANCE without seeing exactly what you're getting. $50 for three carnations and baby's breath was an absolute joke.

My girlfriend and her family are currently out of the country because their grandmother passed away this past Friday. The entire family had to leave suddenly, which meant her nephew, who was graduating today, and his 21 year old sister stayed behind alone. To make things even more emotional, their mother passed away from cancer three years ago. I volunteered to take him to his graduation so he would still have someone there supporting him on such an important day. When I arrived at Archibald Flowers, they were extremely busy because of graduation season. I gave them my friend's name, but they initially could not find the order. Eventually they located it and brought out a beautiful white lei. I placed it in the car, and just as I was about to leave, one of the employees came outside and explained they had accidentally given me the wrong one and that my friend had actually ordered the Bombay lei. I opened the trunk, and the employee kindly told me I could choose whichever one I preferred. I asked if there was a price difference, and at that moment, who I believe was the owner came outside. I told her I simply wanted whichever lei had originally been ordered. She then smiled and said, "You know what, for the confusion, just take both." I was honestly taken aback. I asked if she was sure, and she said yes. I thanked her deeply. What she did not know is how much this meant to this young man and his family during such a difficult and emotional time. When I later called my girlfriend to tell her what happened, she became emotional and said, "I think that was my sister sending a gift," referring to her late sister. To the beautiful salt and pepper haired woman who helped us today, thank you for your generosity and kindness. You may never fully know how meaningful your gesture was for this family.
