Thought about making reservations, but instead we just got there right when they opened and there would've been no need. Granted it was a work week night, literally for the entire hour we were there only two tables arrived. And I was counting us. Perhaps later you might want a reservation or you might have to wait. There were only about seven or eight tables me entire thing so it's cozy. The one person running the cash register and taking orders, was very kind, but a little distracted on her phone. I wonder if she was doing work. She was very sweet though and gave good recommendations. My friend got the Ragu while I opted for the gnocchi. I actually preferred the Ragu for sure. The meat was tender and delicious, and the noodles were thick and delightful. The gnocchi kind of tasted a little, bland and repetitive. To be honest, I wish we could've shared like five tiny plates. Felt like I was eating way too much gnocchi and didn't get a lot of diversity. The bacon on top did help a little. The dishes were about 25 a piece, but they definitely tasted homemade. We opted for the bruschetta as a starter and I would've skipped that. The tomatoes were super fresh and the bread was good but the olive oil was playing. Don't think it was worth $10. The wine selection was brilliant. Generally pretty affordable for the quality. Some delicious wines there that night. Love love, love the aesthetic. We definitely want to return and try some new things.

They serve a generous portion of cheese (Parmesan or emmental) on top of the pasta. You can add meatballs (veggies or meat) for a little extra charge. We did enjoyed our dinner so much!

I did a quick search on Yelp, found that this place had good ratings and wasn't too far away and so off we went. When we arrived at about 8pm it was busy, so much so we were worried that we wouldn't get a seat. Fortunately they had just one table left on the upper floor. So, we got comfy, ordered a carafe of the house red and had a look at the menu. The menu didn't feature any pizza which surprised me but, since we were both firmly in pasta moods by now, we didn't mind. Our waitress gave us a list of delicious sounding specials and, after a little deliberation, I decided to have the Rigatoni Louisa, which was all broccoli, pancetta and blue cheese. Unfortunately, they were out of spaghetti bolognese which was nearly a disaster but lasagne was on the menu so it all worked out. It was also delicious. Everything was so perfectly cooked and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so warm and friendly, I could easily have stayed there all night.
