No credit cards, which could embarrassingly mean an inability to pay your bill if you haven't planned for this in advance. Luckily in certain cases I've heard that the incredibly forgiving (or annoyed and just wanting to be rid of you) staff might just let you off the hook for the few euros you're short. Sadly, aside from this amazing display of generosity, the place is still kind of outdated and uninviting.

We ordered beef carpaccio as a starter, which was delicate with cheese and salad atop. Entrees we're filet of sole with veg and Cornish hen with apples and potato fritters- which we're such a good combination! The fish was not deboned so I needed to adjust, but I got over it for the flavor. Cute interior decor and a good soundtrack are pluses. Next time in Brussels I will return!

Unfortunately the food was way below average (considering the prices) Lamb shanks were beyond disappointing. From the cooking to the seasoning. The fish I ate was ok. If it were cooked by myself (I'm a terrible cook). In a nutshell: cute place.Decent service . Terrible food. This place used to be be a Brussels hotspot. Too bad it was sold to profits only. Thank you for the commercial gesture though (coffee and liquor)

A family run local restaurant serving mostly Belgian dishes, with aspirations for a more haute…read morecuisine approach. The food was good but not entirely impressive. Prices too high for the inconsistent quality of the food. Restaurant offers a threw course menu for about 38-45 Euro. Small but food wine selection. What i loved most about this place is the family feel combined with the classy vibe. The owner is a charming host and useful as a resource on the menu. I recommend the mixed mushroom dish as a starter.the wild boar is interesting as main but was not cooked well. Meat was not fresh. Desert was half hot half cold, which says it all. A great charming place , but food quality/ consistency has some ways to go.

The…read morerestaurant app The Fork was offering a 50% off the a la carte menu during some Fork Festival, so the wife and I jumped at the opportunity. We didn't really know what to expect, but on The Fork, Artisauce had a 9.6 outta 10 review. We didn't expect Michelin star dishes or anything, but we were pretty excited to try something so well touted. When we arrived, the host was incredibly welcoming. He spoke English, remembered that I had requested a table by the window in my reservation, and took our coats. The menu is small, but when we were there, a Friday night, there was only one chef making all the dishes. I was pretty impressed (and told him so upon leaving)! I ordered the Duck Breast with a delicious fruity vegetable puree, and the wife got a Pheasant in a delicious sauce. We were quite impressed with the food, and the duck was really well prepared and cooked to perfection--so juicy and tender! This goes for the Pheasant as well. We ordered dessert too, and we had read about the Dame Blanche with warm Belgian Chocolate, so my wife ordered that, while I went with the host's second recommendation of a Sweet Citron, lemon tarte. While the Dame Blanche was highly recommended, we both found the Sweet Citron to be more special and of a higher quality. We're really happy about our meal here, and if it wasn't for The Fork, we never would have tried it!

DECOR - As soon as we pulled up in the parking lot I was impressed with the layout and decor of the place. You could tell the building is well cared after. On the inside everything is beautifully decorated with floor to ceiling of wood. Great for groups, lots of space and a beer garden. The staff is friendly and makes you feel at home. The owner greets and spends time with customers through out the evening. Just a great vibe and most importantly an enjoyable evening. FOOD & DRINK - the menu has a great selection of fantastic beers and Bavarian food. Our picks were the sausages with kraut which was to die for. Two of us were not big on kraut but in this case cleaned the plate. For mains highly recommend the jäger schnitzel, the meatloaf and the cordon blue. For sides we had spatzel which is buttery pasta bits, potato dumpling which consisted of a fluffy starch ball, and traditional potato salad. The schnitzel was the best I've ever had and I've had my fair share of German food but Bavarian style takes the cake for me.
