I am sad to write this as I did get what I ordered. But $80 for one dozen latex balloons and two gold number balloons?!?!??? That's outrageous! I called and placed that order and did not ask the price, my mistake. I called the day of to confirm the pick up time and was told my total was $80.00! I was shocked. One dozen solid color balloons at a grocery store is $19.99. I called every store around and no one had the gold numbers I needed. So I kept my order with San Clemente Balloons and picked them up. This business is run out of their garage and the balloons were what I ordered. I'm still sick over the price. I'm all for businesses making a profit, especially a small business - but that much mark up is unacceptable. It looks like they do nice work on large balloon arches and larger orders ... but if you have a small order, please consider using someone else. read more

Ordered balloons for my Husband's Birthday and our three year old boy. We love balloons in our family and thought this private business will deliver a better quality than Party City.. Delivery was on time and cost $25.. Purchased balloons for over $100 which is twice more expensive than Party City, $3 per balloon and $15 for large letters and shapes. One letter broke right away and the following day more than half of the balloons are floating on the floor, small, out of air.. What we received was not what we ordered, and when we called ...their response was less than acceptable. It is very simple. when you don't receive what you expected to get and you relay that to the provider all they had to say was sorry and is there anything that I can do to make this better for you? instead we got crickets and not a single word was said. I think that's terrible customer service and I'm sad that i've had to turn to Yelp. Not helpful at all. Called back, again, and told Tina I wanted a specific arrangement. $100.00 + $25.00 Delivery fee. She took down my information and details and said she would send me her VENMO so I could pay that way. Her request. Dad's birthday came and went and no delivery. So glad I didn't say anything. THANK YOU SO MUCH San Clemente balloons for coming to the rescue for my brother and sister-in-laws gender reveal! After ordering a gender reveal balloon online from another local business (not San Clemente Balloons) I thought that I wasn't going to be able to go through with our plans because the balloon we received the morning of the gender reveal was purple and not black like we had ordered. Because the balloon was purple you could see the confetti inside the balloon completely defeating the purpose of popping the balloon for the big reveal. I was so devastated and thought I would have to tell my brother and sister-in-law the gender reveal wouldn't be able to happen like they had been hoping and waiting for when San Clemente Balloons SAVED the day! I was referred to Tina by a friend who used SCB for her twins bday party. I wanted to have balloons delivered for my daughters birthday 6/2. I contacted Tina back on 5/3 via text and received response to call her tomorrow. I called her and she was so abrupt saying "hold on" to me I was a little caught off guard. When she came back on the phone she clearly did not remember any info from my text which detailed date, bday etc. I decided to not worry because she was referred by a very good friend. She asked me to text her and she would send pictures. She responded asking what my daughter likes. I responded and she told me to go to yelp and look at pictures. I did that and called her next day. She was clearly overwhelmed telling me all the orders she had and didn't even pretend she knew who I was! I sent her pictures from her yelp page showing what I liked. She asked me to do that. This was May 7th. I never heard back from her!!! This is completely unacceptable!!! I built , owned and operated a small retail business for 8 1/2 years. Customer service and referrals is what keeps businesses going! I would NEVER not contact someone back!! After 10 days and no response I wrote this review. I'm trying to pay you $ to deliver balloons for my daughters birthday and you treated me like dirt! I wasn't waiting for her and since ordered from another company who clearly responds and wants referrals. Normally, I would not take the time to write a review like this, but perhaps this is the only way SCB will realize they lost my business, my friend who referred me and everyone else we know!! As a small business owner myself I can not imagine not returning a text/call from customer. I've worked retail my entire career and this was awful.
