Showing loads of sports nearly all football games especially big games on numerous TVs. Pool table and darts and also gambling slot machines. Sometimes they have live singers or bands on upstairs. They have 2 bars 1 upstairs and 1 downstairs. You can also enter competitions in the club. Membership fees are £5 for your first year but it's well worth it as drinks are probably the best in town.

This is definitely not because there is anything wrong…read morejust that I dont go out much!The club allways offered a friendly welcome and the members all seemed to be friendly too.The prices were good .They did lots of things for special events especially things like New Years Eve. There was a pleasant room upstairs (very pleasant on a Summer evening) with a nice aspect.You could hire this room for private parties and various groups used this.It has the advantage of a private car park but is in a reasonably accessible place too.I hope it is still as good and well supported.

They completely ruined the night, they where homophobic sexist rude and intimidating towards the organisers, they had a noise control monitor which cut all electrics off which was on so low that the entertainers could not even use the mike, or play music even at medium volume, yet the band downstairs where at least 4 times louder and it didn't effect them !! It cut out so many times that it blew the entertainers amp !!when we asked for help they said it wasn't their problem, and refused to look at the problem.....They closed the bar at 10pm, they said they didn't want the likes of them( drag queens) in the main room as the members would be offended, and slammed the door in the drag queens face !! the steward was offensive swearing at us just saying he wasn't bothered.....totally ruined a night which has took weeks to be perfectly organised....disgusting people with disgusting attitudes !!! I will never step foot in that place as long as I live

Now the Club has a small car park and a very loyal membership. Recently extended the main drinking lounge is warm and comfortable, a larger kitchen was added to provide great dinners in the large entertainment room that regularly holds great evenings of song and laughter with the best of the local club talent on show. It still has its various teams and an active fishing club and snooker team; and of course they still have the annual trip to the seaside. The landlord knows how to keep a good pint on tap and at prices that don't hurt the pocket.
