For example; in the entire gym there is but one dip machine...and the treadmills pretty much don't work. They are all walking speed even at 7 and above. Except for the four incline ones at the end for now... The equipment isn't maintained well so you run into a few broken or on the verge of breaking ones. Now it's not on the level of LA Fitness but it's giving LA Fitness energy, not that LA Fitness isn't a decent gym just not my cup of tea (if you know, you know). Lastly please for the love of love, put ESPN on at least 3 of the ten thousand TVs in there, you can watch but some much of the OneLife channel. I'd even settle for the fishing channel. All that said, the energy in the gym is nice, I always see the same trainers putting in work, and again location location ‍.

This company banks on people forgetting, giving up, or accepting the hassle. I've filed complaints with the FTC and Attorney General. Don't sign up unless you're ready to fight your way out. You've been warned.

While it may seem like there's "not much to review" when it comes to gyms, I genuinely believe not all gyms are the same. Onelife clearly takes pride in their space. The facility is clean, the machines are well-maintained and up to date, and they pay attention to the little details (which I definitely notice). The personal training rates are also very reasonable, and overall, the vibe is exactly what I look for in a gym. You can tell most people are there to actually work out--not just hang around, socialize, or hold up equipment. I really appreciate being in an environment where people are focused, respectful, and using the gym for what it's meant for. If you're looking for a gym that feels welcoming, well-run, and truly built for people who want to move and improve, Onelife Fitness Perimeter is it. Lots of cardio machines on both floors and a designated stretching area and cross fit section. They sell protein shakes, energy drinks and snacks. They also offer amenities like massage chairs and saunas. This location does not have a pool. Only comment I can add is the guy working at the reception can be a little more lively. It is in the old Golds Gym so even though it is newer to the One Life collection. The building itself has some age on it. Some of the equipment already has cracked pads which is a huge pet peeve of mine. When you have annual membership fees this should never happen. There are several machines here that they don't have at other locations, however it was lacking in abdominal machines. The overall pool area is nice but the hot tub had the weakest jets I have ever experienced. This is the only One Life I've been to that has a steam room. That was nice! The showers were GROSS and showed plenty of mold. There were also three ends of exposed screws by the soap holder that will scratch you. Like I said this experience was a roller coaster! The hydro massage was nice and that area was clean. I will come back.

Lifetime and Planet Fitness for example I just walked in and said "l would like to cancel my membership". The response? "Of course, Sir. We'll get that done for you and we're sorry to see you go." Onelife? Walk in and receive the answer - "No, you can't cancel through the app. No you can't cancel in person. No, I can't help you, you need to go to our website. " Get to the website and go through a maze of links to find an email that HOPEFULLY will work. Still waiting AND they still plan to charge for the following month after cancelation. Don't come here, go to a gym that isn't trying to trap you.

If you read through the recommendations, most of them are just "Just signed up, seems nice". Wait until you try to leave. They will use every stall and delay tactic possible to get another billing cycle out of you. My wife had a personal trainer through them, which isn't cheap. When she cancelled that, they had her sign a form. A week or two later, we get another bill from them that we thought was a bill because we cancelled in the middle of a billing cycle. A month later, we get another bill from them. We go into the location and they say they dont have the paperwork and act like we should have taken a picture of it since they didn't give us a copy of the paperwork. (I fully believe if we had taken a picture, they would have said "Well that's just a picture, its not official") At this point we both wanted to cancel our memberships because of how they acted. To do this, you have to call some individual in the corporate office. That guy doesn't answer the phone and then you have to send him an email and wait and hope and pray he actually reads and processes it in good faith so this company will quit leaching money from your bank account. Honestly, leaving this gym is like escaping a cult. Instead of joining this gym, just run. Run as far as you can in the other direction and you'll be in a lot better shape both physically and mentally.

The back door clearly marked "Employees Only" is frequently propped open, and people who are not employees go in and out regularly. Certain members consistently enter through this back entrance, and while they may feel entitled or believe they have permission, other members also open the door for people -- which completely defeats the purpose of a restricted staff-only area. Anyone can buy a OneLife shirt and walk through that door. That's exactly why staff entrances are supposed to remain locked. This is a legitimate safety concern, especially for members who work out alone. There is a reason this door exists and a reason it's labeled employees only. If it's meant to be secure, it should be consistently enforced. Until this issue is addressed, I don't feel comfortable training here.

When I visit my family, it is normally for a week per trip, so I pop in here and purchase a week pass. Sadly they have recently gone up 60% in price from $25 to $40 for the week. Seems like a huge jump, so if I am unable to commit to every day of my visit, I no longer purchase. The gym is a great size with a great layout and mix of equipment and clearly defined areas. It is two levels with the upstairs being fully reserved for cardio equipment. There is a small space on the first floor that has cardio if stairs are on issue. Machines are in the front part of the main space, while free weights line the back mirrored walls with all varieties of benches, racks, medicine balls, ropes and circuit style accessories. Majority of the equipment and free weights are in rough shape, no pun intended. For the cable machine, most of the accessories are missing all or a portion of the grips, numbers on the weights have rubbed off and seating is worn. This continues through the gym and is noticeable on several machines and free weights/benches. Outside of weights, they do offer tanning, water massage beds, a pool, classes and a juice/protein shake bar. Service is okay. Front desk staff are never really engaging or welcoming, which is odd for a new person walking in to pay for one week what others pay for a month. Overall, I may be spoiled by my home gym, but Onelife Fitness leaves a bit to be desired.
