She sent me for bloodwork but no one ever called with the results or follow- up. Instead, one must wait a month for an appointment to discuss results which may need attention immediately. Also, I had to point out to her that my blood pressure was high- stage 2 hypertension. She didn't even seem to read or notice. I asked for the tech to repeat it to be sure. Her response was yes it's high, just come back later which was a month later!!

For the six weeks that I went to Mote, the front staff messed up my appointments three times. Each time I showed them my hard copy that I had an appointment for that day and time, but they dismissed me and wouldn't reschedule for that day saying they were totally booked. Once okay. Things happen. Twice not happy. Third never going back. There are many excellent PT practices in the area, and I would stay away from Mote because of its front desk staff.

I was lost coming to my 1pm apt so I tried calling several times but no one answered the phone. I finally found the office and was 10 mins late for my apt. I asked Marlene if she had another client after me, if so I was going to reschedule. She told me she thought her 2pm apt had cancelled but to go ahead lay down and she would call them to make sure. I laid down on the massage table at 1:15pm. Marlene came back to tell me that her 2pm did cancel and we don't have to rush. I was relieved to hear this and looked forward to a full hr massage (as stated in my Goupon 60 minutes massage). She started the massage at 1:20pm. At 2:01pm she stopped and said we were done. I was confused because it had only been 40 mins. I asked her why would she not give me a full hr massage if she did not have another client coming in at 2pm? She replied, "well, I normally stop at 10 mins before the hr to change the sheets..." I asked her again, " why would I only receive a 40 mins massage if you told me we did not have to rush and your next client cancelled?" She never answered my question. Instead asked me," are you not satisfied?" and said excuse me and walked out! She was very rude and unprofessional in the way she handled this situation. I had 2 more sessions but would not like to have her work on me again after this negative experience. I wrote to Dr Ashley about my experience and asked for a recommendation of another therapist as well as honor the 60 mins massage voucher I purchased. Unfortunately at the end of our communication, he would not honor the 60 mins massage but instead said it was an error Groupon made. I ended up canceling my voucher and never went back. Today our lives are full of stress. We come to a place like this to relax, not be treated in an unfair manner by the very person who is suppose to help take away that factor. He operated on it and once again successfully resolved the issue. The nurses in the prep room who prepared me for surgery as well as after my surgery (I wish I remembered their names) were outstanding. So you wonder why I only gave 4 stars. Well my surgery was originally scheduled for Mar 3. I was told that I would receive a call the day before as to what time to be there. When I heard nothing the day before, I called regarding this. I left a message and got a call from Krystalie saying that I called on Feb 19 saying my hand was better and cancelled the surgery. I would like to see the phone records and documentation from HSS showing that I called on that or any day to cancel. I NEVER cancelled the scheduled surgery for Mar 3. Further I went for my pre-op on Feb 19. If I was going to cancel or did, why would I have kept and gone to the appointment for Feb 19? Krystalie was adament that I did but I felt it was better to not burn my bridge here. The schedule was rescheduled for Mar 10. I made sure to document all and verify with Krystalie for the Mar 10 surgery which was done on that day using the patient portal. Now for the record, I did speak with Krystalie on February 4, regarding if there was a timing issue between my scheduled Feb 19 pre-op and the surgery originally scheduled for Mar 3. Krystalie said that there was no issue here.

We did not forget our commitments and were excellent on follow thru. We did not "lose" things. HSS rehab for some weird reason likes to hold a prescription for "approval" if the RX doesn't come from their physician. This happened to me TWICE. They stated they would call when approved to schedule my 6 week rehab appointments. No return phone calls TWICE. I had to call to remind them about my prescription and to schedule appointments. Three weeks to get my first appointment from the time I hand delivered the prescription until I got my first appointment. My appt is today at 2pm. I received a call this morning from HSS rehab stating they have no RX from me. I had to tell them they lost it. I had to remind them I sat in their rehab waiting room for one hour while I was only 2 weeks post op knee replacement waiting for approval for a RX that had previously been approved. And now they have lost the prescription. "Lord help me" as they say in the South. Incompetence doesn't impress me. Ironically, I was seeing my knee replacement surgeon today and told him how my rehab was delayed due to difficulties with HSS. He offered to write another RX and send to Jupiter's rehab Center. At that time I was unaware of HSS's inability to locate my prescription OR I definitely would have taken him up on his offer. The only good thing about HSS is my physical therapist Max. He is the reason I am returning to HSS rehab for my second knee replacement rehab.
