For starters, Dr Billinghurst has a very good bedside manner. He tells you what needs to be done in a way that even if you are not well versed in the medical field you can understand it and not feel as if he is talking down to you. When I have needed injections he told me where the pain would be and how much pain. He also mentions if you will feel pressure as opposed to pain. When it turned out I needed surgery, he told me what to expect. He also mentioned that if I chose to have a 2nd opinion, the answers I could expect to get from other doctors. After my surgery, he monitored me and had me come in on a timely basis to check on my progress. After recovering from my surgery, I will say that I can do a whole lot more and in a lot less pain. On this note when he does give you an injection, it is not as painful as when other doctors do it. I thought before he gave me the epidurals they would be quite painful. Thankfully they were not and I have had other doctors give me an epidural. They were more painful. He also is more thorough. One other thing I need to add here; a while back I had a follow-up appointment for 1:30. Sonia his assistant called me around 12 that day to say that he was running behind. If we moved the appointment to 2, he would be able to see me without a delay. Like I said, I would rate him more than 5 stars if I could. I highly recommend Dr Billinghurst for your back issues. You will be glad you saw him for it.

I was on the 6th floor after having a full blown mommy makeover. No aftercare papers, nothing at all. Uber dropped me off outside while I bled out on a metal bench, the nurses ended up having to walk across with a wheelchair to get me to the 6th floor, they wheeled me up and then dropped me off there, while I was bleeding everywhere. When my companions and daughter realized how bad I was bleeding they called the office on multiple occasions and the owners as well. the owners said. "do not take her to hospital, this is normal", it was not normal. After hours of bleeding out and me finally passing out my daughter called 911, their lack of care after the procedure caused me to almost die. The ambulance driver did not think id make it to hospital. I ended up in emergency surgery because they had slit an artery and sent me to a hotel to bleed to death. I remained in ICU for a week, no apologies, no nothing, it was all about money from the second I walked in. Thev immediately were offering me a pain blocker for an extra 600 which I paid. And then they also tried to get my credit card again while l was still under anesthesia. Then after numerous calls to the clinic and talking to the owners we were informed not to take me to a hospital, it was perfectly normal. It was not normal. After hours of bleeding out and me finally passing out my daughter called 911, their lack of care after the procedure caused me to almost die. The ambulance driver did not think id make it to hospital. I ended up in emergency surgery because thev had slit an artery and sent me to a hotel to bleed to death. And then they also tried to get my credit card again while I was still under, keep in mind the pain blocker did nothing since they almost killed me. It took 6 blood transfusions and 3 bags of plasma to keep me alive. No aftercare no concern about my life at all. Accidents happen and im well aware, its the care after the fact, that was negligence. They immediately removed the Dr Luis Vinas within maybe a month, almost made it look like he never worked for them. When I got back to Oregon I ended up in ICU another 2 weeks. Please reconsider ever going here. At this point its not just about the drs but also the owners of this clinic. The nurse that came in trying to get my credit card. It was all shady, and to this day no apology.

I had a complex surgical treatment (external fixation) to correct my Brachymetatarsia. I was out of work for 10 weeks and it was not easy, but I have absolutely no regrets! My feet look completely normal. Besides the minimal scars, you'd never guess I had extensive surgery on my feet! Dr. Lamm has a great bedside manner. I was turned down by many more experienced surgeons because of its difficulties. I chose Dr Cleveland because one of his teachers was Dr Pastorek, who was my surgeon in NYC when I had my original Rhinoplasty in 1995. Dr Pastorek at that time, legitimately, was world renowned. I was thrilled with my surgery for years. Unfortunately, with time the cartilage began to shift. I learned this was not unusual no matter how good the surgeon. I visited with Dr Cleveland and he assured me he would be able to do the surgery as difficult as it was. I trusted him as he was a student of Dr Pastorek. I thought he would have the talent. I should have called Dr Pastorek's office first. I would not have chosen Dr Cleveland. I knew there was a problem with the surgery almost immediately after the surgery and I started to panic. This is when the once wonderful bedside manner of the doctor changed. "It wasn't the rhinoplasty that was the problem it was my expectation. It was my emotional state" Wow! He became nasty and condescending when answering my questions. He felt he deserved credit for answering my phone calls during inopportune times for him and his family. Month 8 was my last return visit. At this time the doctor admitted he would need to do a small revision. However, he responded to a very dissatisfied letter I sent to him that it was my unhappiness only with my nose. He felt my nose came out well enough to post my photos. I said he had my blessings. He never posted my photos online or in his book as he said he would. I posted my photos. Not only can this doctor disfigure you but he will also blame you for what he does to you. It is necessary I have a second revision. The grafts have broken through and the bone has calcified. Simple surgeries he can do, no doubt. They all can but you cannot trust what he says he can do. He will experiment on you. My procedure was way above his skill level. He should have sent me away as the much more experienced surgeons did. He took advantage of my expectations of who he was. Do not let a doctor pick up a scalpel to your body based on some excellent reviews on injections or a warm and fuzzy consultation!

First- someone ripped out my catheter while I was heavily sedated- I do recall this perfectly due to the pain, it woke me, I screamed & passed back out but that memory absolutely still exists & haunts me....yet nobody notated (signed off on it) who did it. Whomever it was did it to torture me as it's 1 of maybe 4-5 people so why not notate it as per usual protocols? I wager that nurse's neighbors are missing pets- this was some sick crap by a sick person. Because then during my stay at least 2 different other nurses came by my room "to remove that Foley catheter for you" because nobody notated it had been removed- so it is a mystery to who tortured me as nobody signed off on removing it & nobody would own up to it (because that murder is a PSYCHOPATH). Worse now, the nurses did not even look at or bother to change my bandages or dressings for 2 full days- it was only when I stood up did they see the huge encrusted bloodstains all over my side (where drain tube was). So I lay there bleeding & in blood almost the entire time I was there. Maybe 5 or 6 hours before they discharged me someone finally (after I complained) changed my gown & dressings on my wounds- just terrible. While there not one time was I given all of my normal daily medications (it always took them 2+ trips as I asked "what about such & such?" Also a couple of times some nurse said "your BP is low so ima gwon skip dis BP pill" & then wouldn't give the med to me (really?! Think about this- this is a nurse changing & overriding a doctor about my meds- who does that, it's ILLEGAL too?!). My dressings gave me dermatitis because they stayed taped on while they were fully bloody & remained unchanged for three plus days (just shy of 4 days) like almost 80 hours I lay there coveted in blood with bloody bedsheets. Isn't that that basic nursing 101?! To keep wounds clean? Well apparently not at Wellington. I also am supposed to take prophylactic antibiotics due to my recent heart surgery to prevent infections yet they didn't give me any in the hospital after surgery. So afterwards when I was back & able to think I realized this so I called them multiple times to speak with them & THEY FLAT DO NOT CALL BACK. So after my discharge i had to go see both my PCP & my dermatologist just to try to & clear up my newly acquired skin infection (yes 2 incisions are now infected- thanks for nothing) that I have due to poor wound care & not changing my dressings on the hospital. Since discharge I have called their patient relations person Tiffany Francis three times over 3 days and still haven't received any callback from her- (nice patient relations person, just don't answer & doesn't return any calls back) so here it is, most of the nightmare I dealt with just this past week. I WISH someone had written a review detailing how awful their experiences were because I guarantee many others were probably just as thankful (as I am) to have not died in the hands of Wellington Regional Medical Center's hands. But please listen to me & hear this; this is not a joking matter I got out of hospital with skin & wound infections. If I see a dentist or get a tattoo, I have to take antibiotics the whole time- but Wellington didn't look at my records and try to help get me a prescription, they never helped. Wellington does NOT care about the patients, they disregarded my needs & caused skin infections & then just blew me off afterwards. Theor nurses changed my meds, disregarded how disgusting my gown & wounds were, I was left on extremely bloody sheets for over 60 hours, how my surgical wounds became infected & immediately upon discharge I had to go to 2 different doctors to get the right treatment for the skin infections I got thanks to their nurses NOT doing what they're supposed to do & keeping my wounds & gown and bedsheets clean. Please, if you have a choice of hospitals DO NOT CHOOSE Wellington Regional Medical Center; it's a gorgeous building but it is ROTTING on the inside. I needed a certain machine to tattoo a tumor inside my lung so I went there- if I had known then what I know now, I would have gone elsewhere even if they had to do a different procedure to find & mark the tumor because Wellington is by far, the worst hospital I've ever been treated in & I have been in numerous hospitals. Out of the local area hospitals Good Sam, Gardens, Jupiter, Wellington even U Miami- Wellington is the absolute worst by far and their patient relations person has been ducking my calls for the 3 days I've called, likely because they actually, really just don't care.
