1start is to much for this company. We originally requested a visit because our AC unit was making a noise. The technician who inspected the system informed us that as long as cool air was coming out, the unit was fine. Furthermore, I discovered that he submitted a reimbursement request for replacing parts that he never actually changed. We are now completely without air conditioning. We had to hire a different HVAC company, and their technician identified multiple severe issues that your technician missed, resulting in the need for a complete replacement of our unit. read more

One star is generous. Our experience with this service call was both bewildering and deeply disappointing. Communication with Sam prior to his arrival was prompt and courteous, and we genuinely expected a smooth visit based on those initial interactions. Unfortunately, what unfolded was the polar opposite. Sam arrived at our home on time and was guided to the laundry area where we explained the issue. Without further discussion, he dropped his tool bag and immediately demanded the $80 home warranty service fee--before even beginning diagnostics. When we asked how to remit payment electronically, things took an unexpected turn. Sam became visibly agitated. He handed us a piece of paper containing only generic dispatch notes from the warranty company--no payment instructions, no personal contact info, no business credentials. When we reiterated we were ready and willing to pay electronically via Zelle (or any other method he preferred), he crossed his arms, huffed, and flat-out refused to engage. Within moments, he picked up his tools and stormed out of our home without saying another word. It was abrupt, unprofessional, and left us stunned. We immediately contacted our home warranty provider, who assured us they reached out to Sam directly. Despite several attempts, Sam refused to return to complete the service call and would not acknowledge or accept any explanation from their team. In over 35 years of homeownership, I have never been treated this way by a service professional. If Sam was having a difficult day or dealing with a personal matter, a simple call to reschedule would have been understandable. But to show up, behave aggressively, and leave without cause or communication is unacceptable. No apology has been offered, and two days have passed with zero follow-up--so it is safe to say none is coming. We treated Sam with respect and kindness. All we asked for was the same in return. read more

I hesitated for some time to make this review but I think I owe it to other prevent them from falling victims. Sams services responded out to replace a non-functioning capacitor in my AC unit. The first technician came out and replaced the capacitor. He had me test the unit from outside, making sure it turned on but we never verified the unit was blowing cold air. The first time I used the unit after having the part replaced, I found that my unit was not blowing cold air (which was not part of the initial problem). I called and spoke to the same tech that came by first time. I explained the issue to him and he ensured me that the unit was working before he left when he replaced the capacitor and alluded to the fact that my unit was probably to old and having other issues. He refused to come out to inspect the issue or confirm his work until I, 1) pay another service call fee or 2) make another warranty claim. I made another claim with my home warranty and that's when the OWNER came out here. He diagnosed my unit with a bad compressor without doing any trouble shooting. Didn't checking for continuity didn't even unscrew the unit... literally did nothing other than try to turn it on and discover that it wasn't blowing cold air. He immediately told me it would be in the thousands of dollars range to repair or replace. After that visit I did my due diligence and began reading on the internet of possible issues. I checked the unit myself and found that the initial tech that came out did not properly reconnect the cables. Not only did he NOT reconnect the cables but he left the compressor connection completely disconnected and the wires hidden/tucked out to view. I nearly fell victim of an unethical practice. I was given a refund for my second warranty claim but I'm not satisfied knowing that there has likely been others that unknowingly fell victim to this type of practice and paid hundreds in for thousands of dollars. If you use this company BE CAREFUL AND DO YOU DUE DILIGENCE. read more

Sam was sent to my house by my home warranty company to diagnose an HVAC issue. He spent approx. 2 min assessing the equipment and came to the conclusion that the issue is a lack of refrigerant without taking any time to determine the root cause. He Informed me that a leak test would need to be done to determine if the claim would be covered by the warranty company, however, he did not have the time nor equipment to do it during my appointment. He said the warranty company would contact me to schedule the leak test. A week passed and I had not heard from the warranty company. I called to check status when I was informed that the technician (Sam) submitted a report stating that the root cause of the issue was the absence of refrigerant, which prompted the warranty company to deny the claim. He completely acted in the interest of the warranty company and lied to me on multiple occasions about the process. I hired a leak detection company on my own dollar to determine the root cause of the leak which was found to be within the condensing unit (this would have been covered under warranty). Sam was dishonest and ultimately acted solely in the interest of the warranty company. Avoid Sam's services at all costs if you want an honest technician that will resolve your issues. read more

The day of the appointment he texted me that morning to confirm and again a half an hour before he came out. Was on time and diagnosed the problem with the dryer right away. Well this is actually my second time calling Sam and as before he saved the day. Home Depot caused us to have a horrible experience with our new microwave. Sam was able to take of that in about 30 minutes. Home Depot took two visits and we wound up returning and canceling the order. We just went Covid grocery shopping and were stocked up for weeks. A couple days later, our fridge stopped cooling. We spiraled into a panic worried about our new bounty of goods. Without hesitation, my husband and I did everything the internet suggested and tested it out over a two day span. It kept turning on and off. We didn't know what to do and weren't sure how we felt about people in our home during these strange times. Sam is an extremely professional licensed appliance and HVAC repair man. He is responsible, informed and has extreme respect for keeping your home clean during repairs.
