I only eat here occasionally , as the prices are way off. This is a small town, I think they need to realize my friends ,family, their "neighbors " , we all like the food but we will certainly go another 20 minutes to buy the same sort of foods they serve at a cheaper price and of better quality. Highly recommend the grilled seafood and fish. My meat lovers,sons and husband, recommend a different location, going by the price of their steaks /fush/ burgers, my family says it's worth it to go a few miles further to dine than to pay the expensive price HTP, simply put HTP is way to expensive for the quality . My opinion is I live the salmon, salad bar, but a little pricey, as my family says. Staff at window and the older workers/owners are usually friendly. I saw Good Boy Po'boys and decided to stop there and try it out. I was a little dismayed to see that Yelp had zero reviews, but I figured I'd give it a try. I do love a good Poboy! On arrival, it's a neat building. Everything was in good order. It looked like it had been freshly cleaned and they put a little bit of money into decorating and making a good environment to eat and enjoy. You order at the counter and the girl taking my order was friendly and gave me her take on the sandwiches. Mind you, this is a pretty limited menu, considering the name of the place! When in Rome, I decided on a Crawfish Po'boy with a side of fries. I tried to order the Hot Side of the day, Crawfish Etouffe, but was told it was still in the oven. I guess the kitchen is still working on their timing. Speaking of timing, don't think you can rush in here on a lunch break and eat real quick. No this takes time. They are making these sandwiches to order, and clearly take pride in each one! While it took 15 minutes for the sandwich to come out, it was worth the wait! My crawfish were literally falling out of the stuffed bread. Each little nugget of crawfish was perfectly seasoned and fried to crisp perfection! The Cajun mayo dressing was spectacular! And they brag on their specialty bread for good reason. Crisp, tender, soft, chewy deliciousness. And the order of fries was outstanding! Fluffy logs of potatoes with crisp edges and pillowy insides. Well seasoned and not over salted! My biggest (i.e., only complaint) is the way it was served. No tray, no plate, just a bag of fries and a sandwich wrapped in parchment style paper. I get it, maybe this is a cost saving measure, or maybe it relates to a lack of kitchen space for a dishwasher. Either way way, gimme a plate! Good Boy Po'boys is worth a stop! I'll be back!

For dessert, I had the bread pudding, infused with house bourbon sauce (0% alc/vol) and topped with roasted pecans--rich, warm, and just the right amount of sweetness. The lemonade tasted more like lemonade Kool-Aid rather than homemade, but that was a small detail in an otherwise great meal. The food was delicious, and the customer service was excellent!
