I've had no issues with my local Sam's ever. This review pertains particularly to a single incident. I bought a tree two weeks ago and when I was ready to plant it, I found out it was infested with centipedes! They were at least 10 bugs that I could count roaming inside the tree's roots in the dirt. I just feel the incident wasn't taken serious. I believe they didn't give the importance and the manager just thought I was a crazy guy complaining about nothing. However, if my plant was infested, so others would probably be and they are still in the store or in other people's backyard. I'm leaving some pictures so you be the judge. read more

Be careful buying tires here. They told my mom her car had a nail and needed a new tire - she took it to the car dealer and all the tire needed was air and did not have a nail at all. They lied at Sam's and if she believed them she would be out a lot of money. I'm sure they pull this trick often so be careful out there. read more

I am beyond upset with this Sam's club. We have a family friend and I found out there was no heat in his home. He is disabled. I placed an order for a Lasko heater, knowing it would at least heat the bedroom. I placed the order and received an order number. The next time available for pickup was the next day at 6:00 pm. We were ok with that knowing they accepted the order and processed my payment through Visa. When he went for pickup, there was no heater for him. The employee told him they pull from the shelves and there was no heater on the shelf. My question is this...so, Sam's gives you the order number and processes payment but does not pull the merchandise for pick up. Then, for the next 24 hours or so, they sell what is on the shelf to anyone who walks in without fulfilling a paid online order ??? You knew my order was in your system. You should have better inventory control than this. I called the help number only to be told they have a high number of orders. Shame on you, Sams Club! You left a disabled Marine without a heat source. My order was canceled. I want everyone to know when I got up this morning, it was 13 degrees outside. I am LIVID at the mishandling of this order and more even more angry at the lack of concern. Right now, I don't know if I will continue my membership. read more

I just had the worst experience here at Sam's Club!! I'm only giving it one star because there's no 0 star option. They rearranged their usual set up. As a result, I was going around the whole store trying to find one item that was moved! I usually do self checkout to avoid any contact with anyone but this lady with an attitude told me if I had 10 items or less! Should that matter?? Smh. An employee was teaching I assume a new employee to work the cashier. I spent at least 10 minutes because he did not know what to do. This is so unnecessary especially during a pandemic when there shouldn't be so many people inside buildings! Sams needs to have a reality check!! read more

Pick up was late by over an hour. They don't answer the phone, ever. Rude employees. Seriously just a garbage store. Sams as a whole is a good company but this store is unsatisfactory in every category. Corporate should do a complete overhaul. read more

Every single time I place an order to pick up I have issues. The idea behind paying extra for my membership is that I place an order, pay for it, load it, leave. But it's never ready. The staff is rude about it. I waited for 30 min for them to just bring me s receipt so I could leave. Then when I went to the dock for them to load it, they spent another 15 checking it again. THEY LOADED IT. I expect Walmart service. This underperformed for my already low expectations. If there was anywhere else in laredo, I'd go there. read more

Sams is great, in and out if u have the app. Sometimes things that I buy there before are not being sold anymore but that's ok, I can always stop by HEB. read more

Everyone here is so lazy!!! My family and I have asked for help several times and we either get an employee rolling their eyes or they leave to check something in the back for 30 min not coming back and then seeing them walking around as if they forgot! The young people in Customer Service are so Rude I used to be so happy with the employees they be in working for 10 or 15 years but all these new people are just horrible have attitude don't have any manners they talk all the the time between them and ignore customers . What a difference with another stores like San Antonio or Austin even in the Valley. read more

I've never had any issues at Sams. Everything is always clean and organized. They have great prices and good seasonal fruits and vegetables.

I usually love Sams club... I dont like this one. There is NEVER a basket available, the store is generally dirty and I do realize most people in laredo texas are spanish speaking but i am not so it makes communicating INCREDIBLE difficult. I pay 100 dollars a year and spend THOUSANDS here and i cant get a damn basket! read more

I like buying at Sam', however for the past year I have bought a bag of tangerines and there were at least 4 that were past their time that I had to throw them away. Also, I have bought a loaf of Dave Killer Bread and at the first slice, there was green mold. My concern is do the workers that handle produce and bread do they put the old stuff first than the new. They have problems with running some checks through the electronic deposit system and then turn the customer over for collection with TRS, without contacting the customer, even so the checks are good. TRS will lie and say the checks were returned by the bank marked unpaid even so the bank confirms that the checks were never presented to the bank for payment. Sam's Club #8156 employees are not capable to figure out when they have a problem with their deposit system and when they have a bad check on their hands. They don't know how to deposit any checks when their electronic deposit system has a problem and then they turn the customer' s good checks in for collection. Way to go Sam's Club. read more

Theirs always a person to help us find certain products when not available and suggesting substitutes for them if possible. This is on a monthly basis when we go and purchase our products.
