I've grown to appreciate Sam's more since they introduced the scan and go option for check out since using the registers here are a real pain in the buttoosky due to the number of customers. Lining up here is reminiscent of waiting in line to get onto the Matterhorn at Disneyland, although the amusement park might be more expensive the way they keep raising their prices. They do carry a variety of things you can't find at Costco so having both memberships isn't as redundant as it may seem. I especially like the variety of beverages here like Propel and Lipton ice teas that are rarely found at Costco. The premade salads here are exceptionally good and reasonably priced. The sheet cakes like birthday cake aren't overly sweet like the kinds you find at most grocery stores. It's really worth going to both stores to see what they carry at least once a month so you don't purchase something you're just settling on rather than the item you actually want. The only not so great thing I have to say about this Sam's Club is that they need a bigger parking lot. Other than that, Sam's Club's won me over during the pandemic when they offered curbside pick-up and later when they had scan & go on their app. I just found out if you have a Plus membership you can have groceries delivered to your door if you spend at least $50. We were in the area and stopped in on a Saturday evening to get a few things. The parking lot was full but we were able to find a good parking spot. We used scan & go and were out of there in 30 minutes or less. read more

Sam's Club Battery Prices seem good when you first shop but beware that if it goes bad you might not get a replacement under warranty. Sam's Club offers a 3 year Free Replacement on their Car Batteries, however they will only cover replacement of one battery during that 3 year time. If you get a battery from Sam's Club and it's bad or goes bad within 3 years and you have the original receipt, they'll replace it, if the next battery goes bad you're out of luck! I needed to make two appointments for two trips and spend 5 hours at Sam's Club Auto Center to get the 14 month old battery checked and then finally get told that the bad battery is not covered since it was already a replacement 14 months ago. It's Not My Fault their batteries Fail! The good old days of Sears Automotive replacing Die Hard Batteries for free for 6 years without the receipt is unfortunately gone. read more

The amount of time customers have to wait for chicken is ridiculous. There's only one employee working. So cleanliness is lacking. Sam's Club is definitely one of Costco's main competitors and overall it's a very good place to shop. However, there are a few things that could be improved. In today's digital world, it's surprising that Apple Pay is still not accepted here. Adding this option would make checkout much more convenient for customers. Also, on weekends like Saturday and Sunday, the waiting lines at the registers can get really long. If they could open more registers or add more staff during peak hours, it would really help reduce the wait time and make the shopping experience smoother. This location is BUSY! I visited on a Sunday, about an hour after opening, and it was already crowded. The parking lot was packed, and I ended up waiting 45 minutes in line. While the store was fully stocked with all the items I needed, the long lines were made even worse by a few broken registers, which slowed things down. One downside is that, like other Walmart properties, they don't accept Apple Pay, so be sure to bring a physical card or cash. I love the affordable food options at Sam's Club. You can't beat a hot dog and a drink for $1.50, and the pizza slices are huge for just $2, including a drink. While I appreciate the convenience and the prices, if you're planning to visit on the weekend, I'd recommend getting there as soon as they open. The girl at the desk said Sam's club doesn't offer senior discounts . I told her it's all over your website and I have friends that are seniors that have memberships. This place needs a better system. This is a billion dollar company and needs better management. Unfortunately corporate companies do not care beyond the bottom feeders. Customer concerns are often looked over and it never reaches the corporate level. Just a customer service representative that takes your complaints and follows the chain of command. Hopefully this gets to the branch manager. There needs to be a better system in keeping your lines in order. 3/2/25 before the 10am opening, there was a stampede and crowds of people from all directions waiting to get in. There were multiple different lines waiting to get in wrapped around the building, one at the front that exceeded all the way down the parking lot, and a couple of lines to the sides, and so many people scattered in all directions. When the doors opened, the crowd rushed the entrance. People were shouting at each other who were cutting in line--causing chaos. This should have been a system implemented in place many years ago. No one wants to take accountability. It was so crowded and there was no order. There needs to be a crowd control incase of fights and stampedes to prevent dangers in the future. We ended up leaving because it was so unorganized and chaotic. Since the people cutting were unruly--this company needs to create a better system walking in a formal manner/line. No one answers the phones and they clearly rolling over... So I will express the experience here. My father ( elderly 85 little hard of hearing) was trying to get through between an across conversation happening with the water sales people and a customer ( RUDE!!!) from across in the way; as my father was saying courteously " excuse me " to get through about 4 times, even Looking up at the male customer (6'4") talking across to the water sales people; that male literally yelled and told my father passing through finally "F'n A$$hole". Please save yourself the trouble and don't order cakes at their bakery. I ordered a cake with succulents in November. The morning of my even i get a call to tell me that they didn't have the decoration for the cake and they could cancel unless i picked another design. I asked for a very basic white with gold confetti with a letter "S" in the middle and some basic white flowers.... this is what i got! Not even close to what i asked.... looks like my 3 yr old drew on this cake... IN GREEN! according to them, the printings machine was malfunctioning. After soaking to manager, she magically found some succulents for the decor and redid my cake.... dumb of me to give them another chance... ordered a stitch cake. I wish you would hold back on the salt, so that my husband, who has hypertension, can enjoy. Worse gas set up ever! If there is a long line, there is no way to turn left into the parking lot and get into the gas line. Nobody will let you in. Also, if you're done shopping at Sam's club and you want to put gas and there's a long line for gas, good luck! Nobody will let you in that way either. Let me preface first by saying this club often has what I need and scan and go is a total time saver. That being said, the product selection at this Sam's could be a little better and more consistent; sometimes items move or simply stop being carried--like celery? If they have it I haven't been able to find it in years. The staff, when you can get their attention are generally helpful but I cannot say shopping here is fun. I pretty much avoid asking staff questions because they all look stressed or tired. The store itself is often packed and people don't watch where they're going as they talk on their phones, leave their carts blocking aisles, or drag around multiple children (who are also not paying attention to what they're doing). This is both INSIDE the store and OUTSIDE in the parking lot. The gas station is another pain point at it clogs the only traffic light going in and out (there are actually 2 other entrance exits but they're not at traffic lights and people will often go the wrong way in 2 of them). People waiting for gas will often try to cut each other off and will also not pull all the way into open lines (because they're always try to the get to the first pump instead of the the soonest available pump--I don't know why). All in all, 99% of the frustration from shopping here will be from other customers behaving poorly but I don't know if there is anything Sam's Club can do about that (well they could do more at the gas station--the staff could direct cars to alleviate traffic like they do at Costco instead of acting like they're only there if a pump malfunctions). When this place is busy, it's stressful to go through its parking lot. It's stressful to be inside. And I'm 100% discouraged from buying alcohol or food court items because I can't scan and go (and the lines otherwise stretch from here to the moon). I have used their pick up service a few times though and that has been quite nice to pull up and have them load purchase into my car directly... though sometimes parking in the designated pick up spots can also be tricky with people ACTUALLY parking in those spaces. Again, other customers are the bane of shopping here because they can't read signs or ignore them. If you can avoid going in, shop for pick up or delivery. read more
