I have not been here in many many years and I finally went with my sister. It has an ample parking lot and it was very organized. They let us in only when the capacity was good enough for us to go inside. The prices are extremely good and if I am I may compare them with BJ's they were either the same or a little less. My go to location! I know this store like the back of my hand. The staff here is always nice and courteous. The store is always well kept and cleaned. I never see any trash or debris laying around from the pallets. I love the Sam's scab and go app because sometimes the lines can be super long! With the app you scan your items as you put them in your cart and you check out right from app. Simply show your receipt in the app to the door attendant and viola you are free to go! Simply fantastic! The only downfall is that you can't get wine (but I understand the reasoning) through the app. Usually when I go the line is too long for me wait to pay for it. Let's just say this Sam's Club location is this far the worst our family sees. Everytime we give this location a chance we end up wondering why did we ever. It's located in the nice Beacon shopping plaza by Wal-Mart. My point in this review is why should we pay for a Membership if your same company owned Wal-Mart store adjacent to this location is much better kept, stocked and employed by more employees thus having a better customer experience than Sam's. We've had better pizza at movie theaters. Employees wouldn't speak English to wife. I had to park and get out of vehicle in the rain to translate for them. While we sat and ate our meal we pointed out the water spill on floor to a refund employee. Issue went unaddressed for the entire duration of our meal. 15-20mins and it remained as we left. Two near slip and fall accidents occurred during that time. When pushing our carts through the store which at first needed cleaning since most had trash in them; the carts noise in warehouse was constant, my cart and others were playing an annoying tune 'bang, bang, bang' throughout the warehouse. I see no reason to pay for a membership that underperforms our free local Wal-Mart and can't stand toe to toe with the neighboring Costco. read more

40 mins has just passed and I'm still standing in the line for fresh squeezed orange juice. This keeps happening week after week. The orange juice is delicious but not sure if it's worth waiting for. I'm a regular at Sam's. Things have changed a lot since COVID happened. They started limiting the amount of people that enter the store and having customers make a line outside which sucks because God knows it gets hot as hell with our Miami weather but it's for our own good. Just wish they would do a better job at that when people make lines. No one really social distances even though there's signage on the floor. Thank God they added self check out stations, it only took forever lol. They recently changed everything around at the store so it's a mission to find certain things. They definitely need to add more signage in the center aisle of the store. Everything is mixed. If you're going to make changes to do an entire store reset at least provide signage so your customers aren't walking around like chickens without a head. read more

** This review is for the bakery. I ordered a 3 tier special occasion cake from Sam's club in Doral on Monday March 27th for the pick up day of April 1st at 10am. Wow! This cake is so perfect if our party took place in a completely pitch black venue where you can't see your hand in front of your face. Where do I begin? We filled out the order form clearly: Cake specifications- WHITE FLOWERS, WHITE RIBBON. When we arrived to pick up our cake however, it had RED FLOWERS AND BLACK RIBBON. This completely baffles me. Why would the order form have a section for cake specifications if the baker would just completely ignore it and do their own thing?! Furthermore, if said baker was unsure of specifications, why would they fail to contact the customer (whose phone number is clearly stated on the order form FYI!) to inquire about said specifications?! The laziness at this bakery is truly amazing! Head cake honcho, Lydia, says she can fix our cake. Awesome, that's fine, no problems here. 30 minutes later, however, she returns, stating that she doesn't have the flowers we ordered the cake with in the right color. Instead she presents us with other hideous flowers or says she can put flowers made out of icing on the cake (which is not what we wanted at all). Lydia said she had the flowers we wanted but in hot pink and yellow. Now, I don't know how many times I told Lydia that the cake was for a wedding celebration (at least two) and maybe Lydia would put hot pink flowers on her wedding cake... no comment. I decided that we would just take no flowers and change the ribbon color. When I said I'll just put some of our real flowers on the cake, Lydia, who I guess just can't help herself, and knows everything and anything about baking a lopsided cake, condescending states "Um, you're not just going to put flowers on the top right? You need to put plastic, blah blah". Fine, Lydia, fine. When we inquire about a discount, you know for all the trouble and receiving the Wrong cake, and settling for something we didn't even want, Lydia who's struck my last nerve, says there's nothing she can do about it. When I ask to speak to the manager, she states that she IS the manager. So when I ask to speak to the store manager, she says that they're not here until two... no name... no number to call... no discount... just a lopsided cake with a shitty fix job. Side note: The frosting is good even though it tastes like Betty Crocker. Edit: middle layer was NOT CHOCOLATE! Even though we specifically asked for it on our order form. Edit: The cake tastes like a publix cake. Which isn't a bad thing... isn't a good thing either. Fine for the price honestly, if we would've gotten the cake we originally ordered. Disturbed that we paid full price and went through all this trouble. You better believe we will never order a cake from Sam's again and that EVERYONE AT THE PARTY HEARD THIS STORY. read more

Located inside the Sam's Club - hence its name, you will find rare top notch customer service in this store. They stock appropriate frames for sport, formal or general use. The best part , the truly stand behind their products, getting my prescription eyeware here for several years now, I have had my share of incidents were my eyeglasses end up getting damaged. For example, one time I left my polarized prescription ray bans in the car in 100+ heat and the got damaged, I brought them back and told them about the incident, after a minor admonishment, they replaced them for a brand new pair. Now you simply cannot beat that !!! Other cases have involved scratches or lost nose pads or screws, every single time, I get my glasses repaired and good service to boot ! Who would have thought? Really. Sams Optical has been the best we have been to here in Miami. They are accomodating and incredibly helpful. We had been to a few different places in the past, for a family of four its important to all go where we are comfortable. Even as a few of us came here, other family members explored other places. All in all the whole family ended up here because we just couldn't get better prices or service. The lines at the front counter for customer service are randomly labeled for different needs (returns, membership), yet the staff behind the counter pull people forward from each line in no particular order. Once you get to the front (i waited 27 min!), your given a hostile attitude. Just like most of Miami, Spanish is the preferred language. Lines at the checkout counter are longer than normal stores and the (what appears to be) retirees working the behind then counters seem unable to grasp that the customers may have somewhere else to go today. For what little money you save by buying in bulk, you spend more in your wasted time here. Time vs. savings equation shows its cheaper for me to send employees to a full price supermarket or hardware store and pay more but have them back at the office in 1/2 the time than shop here! read more

as a new house renter, we decided to try out one of these "membership" stores. Truth be told, Ive always been a Costco girl but hey, sam's is closer. The food seems ok, some of the veggies were reaching the experation date so check them before grabbing them and the prices are not that different than other supermarkets. The gas price was only 1 cent cheaper than what I had payed for that morning. I did like the pizza, but after doing a lap, went to get a full one to take home and they told me they close 30 minutes before they close and they close 30 min before the store closes. Got that? yeah I was pissed. Will just go get some specific things, probably use somebody else card but don't recommend it for a weekly trip. Maybe Sam's Club hasn't had a chance to get into the Miami market as much as Costco since it also feels slightly less crowded than any of the Costco I've been to, even though there's more Costco than Sam's Club in the Miami area, at least that I'm aware of. But this location is the one you want to go to if you want to go to Sam's Club. If you need to go to the Wal-Mart, DO NOT GO TO THE ONE NEXT DOOR! That will damper any mood especially if you're able to go into Sam's. If you plan to go to Wal-Mart, go before Sam's Club, so your outlook in life by the end of the day would be slightly happier. REVISITED: This is still a good Sam's Club. And I recently found out, the only one in Miami-Dade?!?! But at least they're doing it right even though the lines got longer and the last time I went, it took forever to get out of the store! They really need to start hiring more cashiers. I've been a member of Sams Club for years. I prefer the aesthetics of it over Costco and BJs. Costco is outdated and BJs is always cramped and poorly laid out. Sams is spacious with tons of variety and good prices. They carry organic spring mox and spinach $4.47/lb. Plenty of milk choices including the newly added Coconut Milk! Lines are usually long but thats how it is at any club. Some Sams brand items can be purchased by the case. Ask at the front podium if youre not sure. Gasoline is priced cheaper than the gas stations but the pumps are almost always out paper so dont count on getting a receipt. Plus most customers dont know how to properly wait in line at the pumps (one way only. No reversing into a pump or entering from the other side!) read more

Horrible customer service, I bought my tires few months ago, I caught a flat tire I went in for a patch they told me they couldn't do it because of the area were it caught the damage so they'd have to replace the full tire under warranty so I said great no issue there, they told me they didn't have to tire in stock so they'd order it, the day I went their system wasn't working so they took the info down on paper, five days later no call no email nothing from them about the tire I called, waiting an hour just to talk to someone in tires and they told me they hadn't placed the order for the replacement tire... horrible service. My favorite location of Sam's club I usually do some parte of my grocery shopping at this location mainly for fruits, vegetables and proteins because I can really save money buying their bulk packages of what I consume more From the food that they prepare, I specially love their roasted chicken, their portions are bigger than other vendors of this kind of chicken and the flavor is unique. On the sweet side I love the chocolate chips cookies and blueberry muffins (so good so chip) This store is always very well stocked most of the time i find everything i wrote down on my list.
