Sam's has some great deals!! It's a pretty clean store and most of the workers are very friendly. They have regular samples of food and have a sample machine with new products regularly. The bakery is pretty good and the photo lab does amazing work! The meat market is great and the rotisserie chickens are tasty and cheap! The snack bar is cheap, generous, and delicious! Try the pizza by the slice or bring a whole pizza home! The only problem is really the produce section. I have bought two different vegetable trays that have been ruined by the time I open them one day later!! read more

Today I went in for diapers for a baby shower. Out of curiosity I wanted to check to see how long it took for cupcakes for the party tomorrow. They said it typically took a day and that they would be ready after 3 PM tomorrow but the shower is at 1 PM. Jasmine went out of her way and did a same day cupcake order for us with matching colors from the invite I showed her. It was amazing! I am so grateful for people like Jasmine in the bakery who go out of their way to help others! read more

Not only is this particular Sam's a mess, with lower quality products than most of the other stores I have been to, they are terrible at supporting customers in times of need. Whether it was Imelda or this COVID19 pandemic, their reaction is always to crap on the customers. Just two little examples: They got me to buy a plus membership because of the early access hours. Then they shut those down immediately, but won't respond to requests to downgrade back to a regular membership since they took the primary benefit away. I bought my tires there, with the contracted promise that they would rotate and rebalance them for free. Then they shut the automotive section down, allegedly because of the 'rona. Automotive shops remain open all over. Well guess what, now I have to pay another shop to rebalance my tires (when I already paid for this service at Sam's). Sam's isn't sh*t compared to a real store, with real customer service. It's certainly no Costco. To boot, this location is the worst of Sam's. Yuck. read more

Another bad experience. This store continues to find ways to bad customer service. Three times in one visit I was let down by way this store is operated and managed. I have bought jewelry in the past here and thought a got a good price. It was my anniversary so I decided to give them a try again. I was looking for a ruby for my wife. I got there about 4pm and no one was behind the counter. I walked around the jewelry case twice looking in the cases hoping it might draw someone's attention that was suppose to be working or watching that area if they were on break. I final noticed an employee with a Sams Club vest on looking in the case on on the far side. I made my way to her side so she could tell I was wanting help with jewelry. She ignored me so I decided to ask if she know if someone worked in the jewelry dept. Her response was "they must be at lunch". Didn't ask if she could call someone else to help me. She was peaking in the cases also, so she must have been in her break. I decided to go shop a little for some wine and see if someone shows up in a little while. Now this turns into my second disappointment on this visit. I decide to pull up some wine reviews to help me make a decision. My At&T service pops up with notice that say, "Access to this site is block at the direction of the venue providing this service." I tried 2-3 wine review site and got the same pop up. Sams club is providing the internet. So I tried using my data and got off their internet, but the area is in a very week area and the building also blocks a lot of the signal. I final gave up and just after 20 minutes and picked a wine and headed back to the jewelry dept. The girl had returned and was taking to a friend on the other side. When she final asked if I needed something or just wanted to check out, I told her I needed to see something. I told her I wanted to see what they had in a ruby. She looked puzzled and asked if the was July. I said not I want a Ruby. She repeated the question and I said I don't want a birthstone, I want to see Ruby jewelry. I could tell see was still puzzled so I said, "you know, like diamonds Rubys emeralds", to help her get passed the birth stone. She said they don't have any. I pointed down at a Ruby ring below in the case. Her come back for note knowing she had a Ruby item in the case was, "Well, do you like that one"? I said I don't know I haven't seen it yet. After looking it over I asked if she had any other items like a bracelet or necklace with a ruby. She quick said no! I could tell she knew little, and cared even less. I picked up my wine and left. My 3rd disappointment came when I got to the front. Just like normal, long lines to checkout. We all know, just like Walmart, they always have more registers closed than open. They must use the same software program for determining the cheapest employee cost ratio to the amount of sales per hour. I try my best to not go in Walmart for that reason, and Sams is way down my list for the same reason. I decided to leave the wine on one of the many closed checkout lines and go get my wine at HEB. Check outs at HEB is fast and they always have many registers open. Sams club needs to fix that problem of blocking web searches for wine reviews. This Sam's club is the WORST we've EVER experienced!!! One lady for 10-15 customers returning items is unacceptable to say the least. We are canceling our membership and moving to Costco along with our entire family!!! This is not a rare occurrence either. This happens EVERy single time we shop here. They hire people who are rude with a bad attitude that should be stuck in a back stock room and NOT in customer service!!!! Sams... You SUCK!!!!! Again 8-14-16 same result and same crappy supervisor! Always happy with our Sam's. Customer service is great. Love the meat selections. Best prices and nicest cuts in town. Always find great deals on items we frequently purchase. And only buy gas here as they are cheap and secure. In 6+ years, never heard of any gas pump skimmer issues. read more

Aside from the titty baby that gave it 1 star because an old timer told him he was going through the exit like an idiot on what I perceived to be a crowded day, the place isn't bad. It's clean, well stocked and spacious enough to where you shouldn't run into anyone. Have never had a great experience here. But my last visit Saturday 7-18-15 was by far the worst. As I attempt to shop I'm, more than once, forced to stop and allow Sam's employees to walk in front of me. No excuse me, no apologies, just look at me and walk. Rude. Then as I'm attempting to check out there are a group of employees standing around talking very loudly and actually yelling across the room to each other while 4 registers are open and backed up pretty badly. at least 1 self checkout lane is broken. Looks like someone ripped the scanner off the wall. Finally make it to the register. The girl working the register is very obviously in no rush. that's fine. But as I finish unloading my groceries from cart to belt I see her staring at me waiting on my card so she can scan it and start ringing up my items. So I hurry and hand it to her. She doesn't say hello, find everything you needed, kiss my ass, nothing. She rings everything up. I press cash back, $40. I ask her if I can get at least 2 fives. Still not a word from her she hands me my cash and receipt. I say thank you. Still not a word from her. I walk away. One more time have to stop and let an employee cross my path. Terrible ghetto run store. Glad I pay 100 a year for the privilege of being treated like shit. read more

I place my order online and pre-pay to manage my time efficiently so I can manage job duties efficiently. Every time I pick up my order in the back of the store, there is 3 or 4 employees visiting with each other. They ignore you for awhile and then ask what you want. They quickly tell you they can't help you, they have to call someone from the back. Then this guy shows up 4 minutes later just as sour as the others. He tells you to follow him. Now he doesn't have 250 lbs of merchandise to push so he disappears in the dense fog of unhappy employees and customers. He then reappears gives you a piece of paper. Now you realize you are done you can push you 250 lbs of merchandise in the complete opposite direction toward the exit. Worst employees in the universe. read more

We visited this store a few days ago and had to park on the other side of the parking lot. Well it was raining so we ran to the covered patio and decided to go into the exit door since going into the entrance meant getting more wet and we thought it was no big deal. I showed my card the older man at the door and he said in a rude, blunt tone "wrong door". Um, excuse me? Our family sat down to enjoy our July 4th meal today. In short order, we all said yuk to the potato salad purchased at Sam's this week. We rarely check dates on food items from Sam's, but June 5th as a 'use by date'? The taste was horrible, now we just hope to not be sick. Somebody at Sam's is not doing their job. This was probably a case packed item so there was a large amount of spoiled potato salad sold this week as the cooler was full. I do not believe it is my job, as a customer, to make sure food is fresh and consumable. read more
