It was later in the day, very hot out, and I was thirsty. Saw that Re: Coffee was still open, near Trader Joe's (which I needed to visit) and feeling indulgent went in. It was kind of late in the day for caffeine, so I looked at the menu and the Grapefruit Sparkling Ade caught my eye - I have a fondness for grapefruit at times. The barista warned me it might be on the bitter side, but that didn't scare me so I went ahead and ordered it. It wasn't that bitter at all, very refreshing. So if you are looking for something fruity and sparkling here, try this drink! The space is very small, so if you are looking for a place to work, you might need to look elsewhere though.

You order from an iPad and just wait until your order is ready. I would definitely come back! Parking isn't the greatest though and there's a few long tables inside with chair to enjoy your drink and food.

The employee also recommended the Matcha Crème Brûlée donut, so I decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to the hype for me. The custard filling was overwhelming and overpowered the donut itself. At $7.50, I expected a better balance of flavors and a higher-quality pastry. For me, it just wasn't worth the price. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the drinks, but I'd probably skip the donut next time.

Dropped by over the weekend to see this new and absolutely beautiful location. Parking lot is tiny and has specific ones for the other shops next door so do be aware of where you park! Not sure how strict they are. The classic logo up front, beautiful decor and smells as soon as you walk in, greeted by the loveliest staff and even got to see familiar faces like Liana (owner) and Salma (my favorite Barista). The layout is similar to their original location in Balboa so it felt like we were right at home. Menu is easy to read, love that it has descriptions and photos for a lot of the drinks. I stick to my usual: Small Iced Moody Latte (pistachio latte with strawberry cream top) and they perfect it every time. Perfect amount of sweetness with the strong taste of espresso. The Lee's Special is definitely another must try if you haven't had it before! If I am feeling like a sweeter drink kinda mood, I would get that. Drinks come out quick as well so you're not waiting long at all. Love this spot and can't wait to visit more if I'm in the area!! IG: @ammysalamii

The cafe is 2 floors with lots of seating, both upstairs and downstairs. Definitely a great spot to study, get some work done, or catch up with friends. I ordered the Matcha Earl Grey Latte and the Popcorn Chicken. My drink came out pretty fast, while the popcorn chicken took around 10 minutes. I loved the latte! The earl grey flavor was strong, so it was definitely on the sweeter side. The chicken was definitely different from the Taiwanese-style popcorn chicken I was expecting. The texture was more like mini chicken tenders or nuggets than the usual crispy, popcorn chicken. The chicken itself was juicy and had less breading. Not bad at all, just different from what I expected. Pricing is also not bad, especially for the portions. I parked in the back lot, but there's also free street parking. Overall, I really liked the space and would definitely come back to try more of their drinks!
