I wasn't sure what to expect - but they made the process very simple. I have been purging and donating... hand-selected some brand new with tags jewelry and shoes, along with some gently-used shoes. I did well.... they offered to purchase all of the new items I brought, and I felt the offer was fair. You do receive more funds if you are willing to accept a store credit - but since I'm downsizing, it felt like a good decision to take cash. All in? I dropped off my basket and had a text advising my order was processed. You have 24 hours to meet with the store and discuss the offer to finalize. They keep what you agree to sell and you take back your basket of what they pass on buying (which includes any boxes from items they buy). I recycled the boxes and dropped the rest at a local donation site. Easy! The store is clean, well-organized, and well-staffed. I was helped by 3 people between the drop off and offer and they were all very friendly and helpful. This really is a great way to reduce, reuse, and recycle fashion and accessories. I go through the clothes on the racks, and I am stumped. I see tops that are so worn, they should be in the garbage. I brought in seven jeans from Nordstrom, Lululemon pants (worn once), WHBM tops. They took none of it. I'm not even sure they went through it. It was a young lady, so I'm not sure she knows what women my age are looking for. But I actually did start wearing Alloy's clothes as a teen and have kept it up until the pregnant almost 30 year old wife I am today. I love their clothes. Not only do I love the clothes but I love their Clearance section. The style these days seems to be this flowy bohemian style that is perfect for my ever outward growing belly. I got 4 shirts for get this....Less than $40.00. That includes shipping. Yes less than $40.00! And the clothes are great and fashionable and great for maternity wear. When I returned they had a basket of clothes not even 1/3 of what I brought in and then offered me $18 for it. Multiple jeans and sweaters! $18 is not worth even driving there for (especially having to go twice because they took 2 hours) They have gotten themselves into the luxury brands and clearly don't care about us average shoppers anymore. I used to buy and sell there often but It is no longer worth packing it up to take there.
