This old hotel was converted into a gallery and has silver smithing and pottery. We came here to meet Sally Watson. Famous for her beautiful works. We purchased a few mugs of hers and plan to commission a family platter. Sally had her wares organized by the colors she chooses in the glazing process, which are quite amazing. Even the clay is of different densities rendering each item a little heavier or lighter. When you are holding a nice black clay coffee mug that holds in the heat of the coffee and pairs wonderfully against your lips on each sip, it's pure delight every morning. All her items are dishwasher and microwave safe. Really fascinating to hear her speak about her craft. I highly recommend visiting. read more

I normally don't come into stores like this, but I asked my BFF if she wanted to come in and so we did. I will say this is one of the most unique stores I have ever been in, I would first recommend anyone that enjoys unique items or very nice ladies clothing you need to come here. They have things for the kitchen, decorations, clothing, hats, shoes and then you can go upstairs and there are rooms with artisan items for sale as well. I feel bad I didn't take more pictures, but this place is so different from most places I have ever been. I highly recommend this even if you are not in the area. For decades they have supported local artists in their sales, and performances. They host all sorts of musicians to play in and outside of the facility. Wow! Look at all the stuff in here! Pottery, collectibles, jewelry, all sorts of things. Multiple rooms inside and a cool garden patio area out back.. Friday night open mic was cool too.. super chill vibe. Actually, I'm from out of town and couldn't locate a sax to play but, oh look! There's an antique one on the wall.. After a couple minutes they located a mouthpiece & reed for me and I jammed with some dude playing guitar.. so random, but so good! If I ever plan to be back in town I'll bring my own ;-) read more

Going to downtown Tipp City was quite a change from Downtown Los Angeles. I really liked the feel of the small town. There were a lot of antique shops mixed with more modern boutiques. The Hotel Gallery is a converted hotel into shops and show rooms of sorts. The first floor consists of jewelry, clothes, pottery, etc...while the 2nd and 3rd floor are sort of hallways of little show rooms. Each room had either an artists gallery, or a church's display, or just a place to sit a relax. I can't say I've ever been in a place like that before. The two women working in the store were very friendly. My sister and I bought some very unique jewelry. Bracelets and rings made out of pieces of old silverware. read more

This place is truly a hidden gem. My wife and I visited after dinner in downtown Tipp (she had been before). We were kidless and had time to look around in leisure. This place is huge and literally has thousands of unique items. It is the most quaint, warm place you can imagine. You could spend hours looking around and everytime you turn around you notice something different. Love this place, certainly worth a visit and more returns. read more
