A bit of a weird experience. I almost didn't leave a review but it's been a couple of weeks now and…read moreI'm still irked thinking about it. Haircuts aren't cheap, and I came in for a trim and to get rid of split ends. I voiced that I didn't want to lose a lot of length (I have curly hair so length is important) and how my hair does better when it's cut dry so we can see the split ends. The hairdresser I was working with did some initial cuts and then told me to wait while she went to prepare the hair wash station. While she was gone I noticed there was a good amount of split ends I could still see and so I pointed this out when she came back, basically asking her to take another look. She told me that there would always be split ends because she "doesn't have time to look thoroughly" which felt weird since I am quite literally paying for your time to help with this. Just rubbed me the wrong way a bit, I found even more split ends when I was done. I think it has to do with expectation management -- just tell me how based on my hair and the split ends we might have to lose more length than I anticipated so I can plan or figure out what matters most.

I get my eyebrows done here and have had a good experience every time. Very personable and…read moreprofessional staff that do a great job. The only negative is the location they have to do eyebrows: depending on the time of day the sun is fully shining in your face so even though you have your eyes closed to get your brows done you'll still get blinded before/after. I've always made my appointments online, which is great. If you want to schedule with a specific person, you may have to do it ahead of time, but I always just sign up for whatever appointment is available for the time I want. I've never had an issue getting an appointment for the time I want.

I had a 90 minute massage today guys it was really great. it included a foot scrub and hand scrub…read moreusing a concoction made by the owner. After the hand scrub there was a body wash use to wash their hands and then a lotion. My massage therapist check to see if I was comfortable initially she adjusted the head rest and added some towels by my shoulders to comfort me. At another point she when I was chilly she gave me another blanket. The massage therapist was very nice but the massage itself was more like a rub down. At one 2 second period I felt her hit a knot and the rest of the 90 minutes there was no pressure. My quads were pretty tight from the workout I had two days before and a couple times I felt her passing over them, but it was certainly light. If prefer no pressure on your massage this is definitely the place to go. During the foot scrub there was no focus on my heel. The top of my foot get raw & the peach fuzz on the top of my feet was ground off.

The first time I went to get my nails done it was fine. After that it went downhill and they don't run this business well. Do yourself a favor and go someplace else.

I'm a male 71 years of age. I started pedicures in 2020 when I retired. I had tried a few places…read moreand then a friend recommended Nini Nails, I was am still impressed! Always spotless and organized, my medical clinic (Aurora) is less than what I experience here. value for price is great. staff is polite, always well dressed and pay attention to details and cleanliness. completely satisfied and definitely recommend. I'm from East Troy WI not CA!

So so bad. There were so many things that went wrong, and can't recommend this place to anyone…read more 1. They started my service 30 mins after my appointment time that I had booked in advance 2. The man that did my nails seemed to be in a hurry to begin with. This should've been the first red flag.. 3. No cuticle care. All he did was clip my nails and then buffed out the nail. Nothing was done for my cuticles that were very clearly growing into my nail. At this point I started doubting whether he was even certified. 4. I booked gel-x (more expensive than acrylic which will come into play later), but he started doing acrylics. I should've spoken up, but I was admittedly distracted talking to my friend. 5. He didn't shape them well at all. The almond was too thick and not consistent at all. I asked him to make it less thick and he barely did anything to them. 6. The acrylic application was uneven and chunky. There was still remnants left under my nail too. He also applied acrylic to my skin. At this point I had given up and accepted the fact that I needed to fix them when I got home. 7. I asked for an ombré and he did some weird brush strokes. Again, I could've said something but at this point I felt defeated. 8. They charged me for gel-x even through they ended up giving me acrylics. I ended up paying $85 for literal crap on my nails. I was too heartbroken and embarrassed to take pictures, but I was left with chunky nails with a weird stroked pattern, and acrylic remnants all over the rest of my fingers. I had to go home and spend another 3 hours fixing it myself. This place is a waste of time and money. Do not go.
