After a recommendation from a random local we met on the street (not a promoter) we went to this…read morerestaurant three times this week. We were not disappointed! The first evening we ordered the sea bass, cooked mallorcan style. The menu said it was for two people, but the dish would easily be enough for three persons. Non the least it was amazing! Second day we ordered paella. For me, this was the first time I eat paella in Spain (have tried it once in Norway, which hardly counts..) and in my opinion it was truly incredible here at the bodega! The waiter recommended a local red wine, Macia Batle from 2010 and it suited perfectly to the paella. The third and last day we ordered tapas. Potatoes with some sort of sauce on, meatballs, garlic shrimps, serrano ham, chorizos and chicken croquettes. If I would remove one dish it would be the chicken. It was okay, but that's all. The serrano ham was heavenly! They have a lot of them air drying in the ceiling in the restaurant and the rest of the interior makes the visit feel like you truly are in Spain, and not in a heavy trafficked tourist village. We got a local red vine to the tapas as well, but I can't remember the name of it. But it was spot on to the tapas, as the wine we got to the paella were. I would highly recommend this restaurant! The food and service is first class. It costs a bit more than the restaurants down on the beach, but you really get true value for the money!

My wife had found this place online with good reviews and we decided to take a walk one evening and…read morecheck it out. The first good sign (didn't feel it at the time as I was waaaaaay to hot after the walk) was that we couldn't dine there that night as they were fully booked and the first opening wouldn't be for 2 more nights, so we booked and went on our way. So take 2, we come back. We were warmly welcomed by a nice member of staff who showed us to our table and quickly got the table set up, menus, cutlery and high chair etc. The menu was great, a little tricky as I'm terribly indecisive (well I think I am but I'm not sure) and I was tempted by almost everything I read. I finally settled on Iberian pork. It was amazing, cooked to perfection and flavored with a delicate but impressive array of seasoning which allowed the meats natural flavors to come though. For drinks I ordered a bottle of red wine and although I wouldn't say I have a great pallet for wine I know what I like and I liked the bottle of 'Son Colom'. It was a local Mallorca wine and although I choose it with budget in mind I was very impressed, as was my wife. Myself, wife, mum and kids all enjoyed our meals thoroughly as well as the nice surroundings, (we were seated outside on a beautiful Mediterranean evening) and the attentive but not invasive staff. Although this was one of the (slightly) more expensive places we ate on holiday, it was easily worth the cost, although I should mention this was not overly expensive by any means, just we were budgeting for paying for family each night and having to make sure the kids could order something they'd actually eat. If or hopefully when we return to Alcudia, I'm sure we'd make a point of returning here too.

The shrimps were bay (baby) shrimp and the garlic wine sauce was to die for. Save the bread and dip it in there. I just took spoonfuls for faster, happier consumption. We ordered the lamb chops (daughter said it was delicious), entrecôte (ordered medium, but came well done :( so was over cooked for my taste), sea bass with garlic (yummy, but lots of bones to contend with) and Hawaiian pizza (they have a wood oven and the crust came out delicious and crispy). Overall, happy with our meals
