First and foremost, the technician walked in without a mask when I have my 72 year old Mother in my home. This should of been a red flag for me to ask him to leave. Secondly, he performed services and charged my credit card almost DOUBLE! Additionally, no receipt provided and the services never worked- my freezer is still not working. PLEASE....I implore you.....do your research on this company! Look at Google Reviews. Buyer Beware. They came out to "diagnose" my refrigerator, and the guy who looked at it said my freezer door can't come off because it's "frozen shut" and that I need the "Incredible Hulk" to come and get this out, yet another company came and unscrewed it in a matter of seconds. They charged me $96 to inaccurately diagnose the issue, and were going to charge $600 to fix everything that was needed. The company who actually fixed it initially said they would charge $300 for the same parts but then actually diagnosed it and charged a total of $180 for everything. I am so glad I didn't go with SD further as it would've cost me an extra $400 and not fixed it because they didn't do their due diligence. You can just tell from their website to even all the errors in their google responses that quality and pride are not top on their priority list. Even though you don't know me -- trust me....you'll want to stay away from this company. Several other people have stated they were misdiagnosed, charged a ton of money, and their problem didn't go away. These guys don't know what they're doing, sadly. Choice Home Warranty assigned this company to fix my dishwasher. The technician came out and took my $65 visit fee and told me he had to order a part to repair the dishwasher. Waited a full week and never heard back from them, so I gave them a call. I was told that Choice Home Warrenty had not authorized for them to order the part. My issue is that I was never called to be informed of this nor did they follow up with Choice Home Warranty, I had to do that myself. I was told by Choice Home Warranty that this company had not responded to their repeated tries to get a part number from them. I had to be assigned a new company to get my issue resolved. I don't think that they ever intended to repair my dishwasher and just wanted to collect the $65 in cash. read more

I hired this company to fix my Samsung icemaker. The repairman showed up late. He was sloppy and smelled of very strong cigarette smoke. He charged me $370 to fix my icemaker in August and offered their 90 days parts and labor warranty. Well, their "fix" was temporary and within 30 days it was broken again. I called to have them honor their work, and they have been avoiding me despite my frequent attempts to contact them for three weeks now. They won't return my calls, emails or texts. Reached out to have someone come fix my prep table and Tyler was sent to my place of business. He came out said it was my thermostat and it needed to be recharged. When I saw him with the part in his hand I told him that it didn't look new and I don't want any used parts put on my prep table because I'm paying full price for new parts. He assured me that all parts were in fact new. Long story short I paid $375 and my prep table still isn't fixed. I wouldn't recommend this company to my enemy. They sent Tyler out a second time to see why it wasn't getting cold after "replacing the parts" and he fell asleep behind my prep table while he was supposed to be "fixing it." They sent him out a 3rd time after I told them that I have video of him sleeping on the job and he didn't do anything but look at the machine and call the owner of the company just to tell me "oh we gotta do some research to figure out what's wrong." That was 8/16/20 today is 9/2/20 and still no one has reached out to me. This company is a straight up scam, save yourself time, money and headache and just call a more reputable company. We needed immediate service on our dryer. We called them and they came out the same day as advertised. The technician was thorough and friendly. He diagnosed the situation and got my dryer running. Even though the dryer went out again, the owner and an assistant came out the next day and thoroughly diagnosed the situation and only charged me for parts. I am truly grateful for same-day service appliance repair. They are reasonable and courteous. They go above and beyond the call of duty. read more

Warning!!! Do NOT go with this repair service. Very shady. Have stopped payment on our check and hope the bank can prevent this from going through. I don't know how they got our information when I made the request through GE Appliances. Unmarked van, North Carolina plates, no mask, 1-1/2 hr. late, no business cards, out of invoices, girlfriend waiting in van-SO many red flags. Didn't attempt to put on credit card just so we could stop payment of check. Later, he said their credit card service was temporarily down anyway. Our issue was not being able to seat a new water filter, that's all. He took old water filter out to his van, (saying he had a new one in there) and we think brought the old one back and reinstalled it, as it worked, but still showed "replace water filter". He got rid of the message on the refrigerator and said he "reset" it and all should be working within an hour. When he left, lights in refrigerator not working, not able to get water or ice, front panel not working at all. We called GE and Same Day Service is not one of their after hours services. Home Choice Warranty send them to fix my AC. They made me an appointment for a week later. On that day, no one show up. The next day, they called, make bullshit excuses about went to the wrong address. Looked around the unit and told me it might has a leak but he has no tools to check. Make another appointment for 8 days later. No one show up, again. I called and they said there is a problem. The tech will come next week. After 3 weeks, the tech came out, found the leak, and said he need time to order the part to fix it. In the end, even my warranty company is too fed up with them so they cancel the service and assign it to a different company. SO if your warranty ever assign this company to you, make them assign another one immediately, you dont want to waste a whole month like i did. read more

I was in a rush to have my washer repaired and came across their ad on Google. First of all they had to order the part and required prepayment, but it didn't come with all the required parts. When the technician showed up he didn't have the part and agreed to come back the next day. The technician never called. I had to call him after an all day wait and he said he was having trouble finding the part, then once he found the part he called again to say he realized he didn't have the right part and was going to have to exchange it and would come the following morning between 9:30 and 10:00 am to finish the job. He never showed up or called. He claimed he was having car trouble and would come by once he got the car fixed. I never heard another word out of him that day. The day after that he said he had the part and would be here the next day, by then I had already ordered the part he said he needed, so I told him to take the part back to the store where he bought it and get a refund. I then received a text showing he had a flat tire and would be delayed arriving again. I eventually told him to forget it and hired another company to complete the job. Trying to get "same day appliance service'. Not so much. While they agreed to come out the next day (it was a Sunday) I tried to talk to the service person on the phone with info. About the problem I was experiencing. I was looking at the possibility of losing over $1000 worth of food in my refrigerator/freezer and knew the error code and the problem was likely the ice fan and control board and hoped he could arrive with the parts on hand instead of waiting more day(s) for the part. He did not want to listen to me and when I asked him to please listen so perhaps he could be better prepared to assist when he arrived the next day, he treated me like 'just another dumb customer' then hung up on me. I tried calling back thinking maybe we just got disconnected, but he sent me into voicemail. He wouldn't be calling back, I knew this at that point. I don't usually put bad reviews out for small businesses but I would be wary of using a repair company that won't even listen to a potential new customer's concern. After reading TC's review with similar condescending attitude from the same man, perhaps this company should reconsider its customer service model. Josh came to our home looked at our refrigerator he actually cut out the relay and said that we needed a new compressor. He then asked for half of the money up front, said he would be back on Monday and never showed. Needless to say we canceled the check and are now stuck with a destroyed refrigerator, that the Sear's repair man has said is beyond repair. If I could give zero stars I would. Terrible experience overall. My dishwasher needed a new computer board - so we thought. So that was installed ($350). Hours later, it stopped working. Tech came out again (days later) and pulled out the dishwasher and tipped it upside down (while full of dishes!!!!!!!). 4 glasses broken. Noticed a leak that blew the motor and computer board. It's now been a MONTH and still no motor. I should have just bought a new dishwasher, instead now I'm stuck waiting on this motor that may never get installed. I called Same Day Appliance on a Tuesday, 5/16/17 for a dishwasher problem. They set up a time to have a technician come out and look at my dishwasher on a Thursday afternoon, 5/18/17. At this point I am used to companies giving me a block of time to show up, in this case 1pm to 5pm on Thursday. I took the afternoon off from work on Thursday to be at my house. At 4pm on Thursday I decided to call them, because I had not heard anything. Same Day Appliance dispatcher told me with confidence that the "master certified" technician is running late. (When were they going to call and let me know?). Seeing as how I wasn't going to be able to wait past 6pm for them, they assigned me to a different technician. I don't get the master certified technician now, but someone will be at my house between 9am and 12 Noon the next day, Friday. I again take off from work,and I don't hear anything from them. But this time I wait until after 12 Noon to call them. They said that they would call the technician and see where he is and call me back in 15 minutes to let me know the status. I gave them 20 minutes and had to call them back. I told them that if they can't manage getting a technician t to my house and communicate to the customer how can I have any confidence that they will fix my problem. I told them to cancel the appointment and I called another dishwasher repair company for a Saturday appointment. Fingers crossed that they will be reliable enough to show up on time. read more
