I couldn't be more pleased with the work done at my house by Concrete Chiropractor! Kris Winters,…read morethe owner, is very responsive and quickly answered my phone call and emails. He is extremely knowledgeable and offered me so much valuable advice about the damp basement issue at my house. His pricing is very fair and reasonable. Matt, the master craftsman who actually did the work at my house, was amazing! He went above and beyond my expectations. The job is absolutely perfect. If I could rate this fabulous company 10 stars out of 5, I would. I highly recommend Concrete Chiropractor! (¯`'*.¸(¯`'*.¸(¯`'*.¸F A N T A S T I C¸.*'´¯)¸.*'´¯)¸.*'´¯)

Our driveway was 6 inches lower than our garage and the walkway wasn't lined up to the driveway or patio. After a few outrageously expensive estimates from several companies and a few aggressive sales pitches I came across Concrete Chiropractor. The estimation process was simple as they asked me to take pictures and included a guide on how to do it. They followed up with a phone call and explained the process to me. They then sent me a DocuSign document (contract) and told me they would be in touch to schedule in a few weeks. When the crew showed up they again explained the process and in just a few hours everything was fixed perfectly and the price was fair. In fact they don't haggle or play games just give a fair price for the work.

Once they have your initial deposit - they will delay starting the work. Then when you try to contact them They will NOT return your calls, ignore your texts. Beware they are NOT Licensed or Insured, but they lie on thier contract that they are licensed. The manager is a total phony Liar. He's hired workers who left a total mess in my yard after they left ( beer bottles, soda cups littered all over the place), I had them do deck repair work - and they did NOT haul away any of the debris left after work on my project. They will state on the contract that they will haul away project debris, but they will NOT. You will be left to haul away your project debris on your own. They left the project yard debris, along with beer bottles, cups etc. junk littered into a corner in a part of common area in my condo where I got complains from neighbors and the HOA for the contractor's junk left. And when I tried to contact the manager ( Vinny ) several times for 2 days - he did NOT respond to any of my calls, texts etc. He will simply ignore you after the project is done. Beware they expect you to pay by Cash or check only ( as he's trying to hide his business earnings from taxes ) This is a very shabby contractor - beware. The manager was a total Jerk. Do not give your project to this contractor - you will be sorry if you do. This entire outfit is a complete SCAM - stay away from them !!!!

Their pricing was similar to the competitors, but what set them apart was that they offered unlimited pier depth per section. Other companies had limits--for example, up to 20 feet, then an additional charge per foot after that. I'm glad I went with Groundworks because several of my piers ended up going 90 feet deep across 16 sections. With another company, that could have cost me significantly more. I also had their gutter guard system installed (similar to a French drain, though they claim it's better), along with a vapor barrier and mold treatment. I will say, if you have a serious mold issue, I'd recommend hiring a dedicated mold remediation company instead. I did have an issue with the mold spray, but after calling a couple of times, I was able to speak with a manager who surprisingly took my concerns seriously and resolved the issue. The salesman who came to my house, Randy S., was excellent--very thorough and knowledgeable. He always answered my calls and would text be back in a reasonable timeframe. One thing I didn't like was the same-day discount tactic. They present you with a price, then offer 10% off (or whatever discount they choose) if you sign that day. It puts pressure on you to make a major decision on the spot, which is difficult when you're spending over $50,000. There is a three-day cancellation window, but some people may see the discount as more of a sales tactic than a real benefit. I also want to mention the foreman on the job, Jose G. He was great--he answered all of my questions and even let me watch and learn a little while they were working. Overall, I was very pleased with the experience. Their warranty is transferable, which is a nice bonus, and hopefully I won't have any more issues going forward.
