We visited at a calm moment and saw several other 4-tables occupied by couples and one even by a single person. These elements combined made us sit at a 4-table/booth. Just a couple of minutes later we were 'addressed' by the mentioned rude staff on patrol scolding us for sitting there. When I replied that other tables were occupied by 2's as well, we were ignored and the reprimand continued as if we were a bunch of small children being caught on an act of mischief. When I didn't answer/reply in a split second, the waiter started with 'Hey, You there, yeah you, I am talking to you" (bear in mind that he was standing right at our table). He finally stated that he would 'grant us the benefit of sitting there' and that we ought to be kind of grateful for this exeption. We were so disgusted by this poor level of customer service that we simply left. If you should decide on eating at the Wijnegem shopping mall, please do consider your options - there are plenty of restaurants out there.
