Looooooved my experience here! The service was fantastic. Super friendly staff, from the waiters to the bartenders to the owners. We ordered cocktails (a spring version of a gin and tonic made with pink lemonade) and white wine. I had the Rabl wine and it was fresh and delicious). We had a large selection of food (came with a group of 9) and every single thing was scrumptious. Some of my faves: the fried potatoes with homemade bbq sauce, the flatbread (GET IT!!!), tuna with sushi rice, the fish filet, and the raspberry panna cotta. YUMMMMMM!! The space was great too. The restaurant is close to the tram, there is a terrace outside to lounge in the sun, and an area in the back for large groups (where we sat). I'll be back next time I'm in Antwerp! read more

All good here calm location in the center. friendly staff, no old farts, and they even speak English.. flemish + italian cuisine. i highly recommend it. read more

Went there for the first time with friends without any expectations and left overly satisfied by all the delicious food we had. For someone like me who usually doesn't like to eat meat to end up stuffing herself with the delicious flatbread with pulled pork and 24h braised lamb shoulder , it is really an accomplishment ! I just couldn't get enough from it ! Everything we ordered was fresh and delicious, from the salmon carpaccio to the sashimi's, sea bream, codfish, grilled entrecôte served on a small table barbecue to the finger licking desserts. The wine we were advised was very nice, as were the different cocktails. The staff and owners were so friendly, service was perfect , we had a very enjoyable dinner ! The brasserie also has a lovely terrace facing a very cute and peaceful tree lined street , which is great for enjoying a lovely breakfast or lunch. It is very easy to reach by public transport (tram 15), a huge advantage in times where traffic congestion is getting worse every day. Even if you are not familiar with Antwerp it is very easy to get there from the center of town. I sincerely recommend this place ! read more

Decided to give this restaurant a try as we new to the area and are looking for some nice places to…read moreeat. Our reservation was for 7,30 and we arrived a little early and as our table wasn't ready we were sat at the bar for a while, this is not uncommon, however we were at the bar for 10mins without being asked if we wanted a drink. When we got our table we both ordered a G&T which was quick to arrive and was a very generous measure. 5 mins later the waitress was over taking out food order, shrimp croquettes for my wife and beef carpaccio for me for starters. Things were going well so far. However 50mins later we were still waiting for the starters and hadn't been able to get the attention of staff to order another drink (the gin and tonics were long gone by then). Starters arrived and we managed to order some wine. The carpaccio was ok, I suspect not prepared on site but bought in and garnished with some rocket, pine nuts and olive oil. Nothing I can't do myself. I won't go on anymore about it, suffice it to say service wasn't great, food was ok. Looking for something good to say so, The interior is very clean and well maintained.

Naast de gezelligheid, de vriendelijke bediening en het terras waar het vanaf het eerste streepje zon fantastisch vertoeven is, is het eten ongeloofelijk lekker. Laatste keer dat ik er was heb ik de patatas bravas, de pata negra en de steamed buns met buikspek gegeten. Al dit was om te delen, dus heel leuk en super lekker. Als hoofdgerecht heb ik het iberico varken gekozen, misschien het beste stukje vlees dat ik ooit heb mogen eten. Het was dus echt een gezellige avond, waar ik overvol de tafel heb mogen verlaten. Super lekker eten voor heel degelijke prijzen. Als fan van de Japanse keuze was ik heel aangenaam verrast te ontdekken dat ze in deze brasserie een fijne keuze aan oosterse voorgerechten hadden, die origineel geserveerd en heel verfijnd gemaakt waren. Het vlees dat ik als hoofdgerecht had was perfect zoals het zou moeten, en het geflambeerde ijs als dessert (hoe zelfs?) was spectaculair en ideaal als afsluiter. De bediening is vriendelijk en professioneel en het restaurant zelf is erg gezellig. Aanrader! read more

Ben met een bende vrienden gaan eten en op alle vlakken een absolute aanrader. Gezellig restaurant met topbediening en overheerlijk eten. Enkele tapa's gedeeld waarvan de pulpo met chili en koriander, de steamed buns met buikspek en het flatbread met pulled pork er bovenuit staken. Daarna de traaggegaarde lamsschouder (droom er nog van!) en de ijstaart (zalig overdadig!) tot de laatste kruimel en met veel smaak naar binnen gewerkt. Sinds kort kan je in Brasserie Pastis in Mortsel ook terecht voor een een selectie van heerlijke tapas. Deze moest ik natuurlijk gaan uitproberen! De tapas zijn mooi afgewerkt, de smaken zitten goed, de porties zijn goed van formaat. Ik ben fan! Daarnaast krijg je hier een snelle service, topbediening en een gezellige sfeer. Nu nog aftellen naar de zomer, zodat ik op het zalige en zonnige terras kan plaatsnemen! read more

Fantastische avond !!! We werden hartelijk ontvangen en de gehele avond was de bediening top. Lekkere gerechten en prachtig geserveerd. Mijn voorkeur gaat naar de dorade met mousseline en krab. Kortom een aanrader! read more
