We booked a 4 day trip over last Thanksgiving (Nov 2018) due to inclement weather and a family emergency we had to cancel our trip when we tried to call ahead of time & cancel nobody answered the phone and their voice mail was full. They ended up charging us for the entire stay instead of just the deposit. Sad that it has become difficult to reach a live person with whom to communicate.They charged us $348.92 for a cabin we never used. read more

This has got to be the nastiest, most ran down dump I have had the misfortune to have stayed at in a long.....long time. The staff are extremely rude and very abraisive toward customers. During my party's stay in one of their kitchenettes (grossly misrepresented on the website) it was discovered the rusty old stove was shorting out. Not only was this a potential fire hazard, it left us with no way to cook (main reason to spend more money for the room). When we respectfully brought this to staff attention they harshly informed us their was nothing they could do to fix the stove. We asked if we could possibly get another room and were shouted at regarding the fact they felt it was not their fault the stove didn't work. When asked if they would possibly make an attempt to rectify the situation, we were yelled at again and told "We aren't fixing the stove, we aren't moving you, we aren't compentating you for the problem in the room.......if you don't like it call the owner!" I apologized to the other person in my party for having to witness such horrendous behavior from the staff and politely excused ourselves to speak to the rest of our party regarding the way we were treated. We returned a short time later to attempt to aquire the number to the owner of the establishment only to be told to vacate the property because we had complained and they would not tolerate such things! Buyer beware! The website misrepresents the quality of the rooms they have available for guests and the staff are very offensive. I will post pictures of what the ran down rooms actually look like so people are informed of what they are really getting before you reserve a room.....they require a 60% deposit of which you loose a large portion of or all of if you cancel! read more
