Being a lazy bod the parking is right outside and I enjoyed wondering around in here buying bits and pieces. There were deals to be had and I am now washing my hair with carrots! They always have a sale on some type of make up in here; two big baskets sit at the entrance of the shop brim full of lip glosses and eye shadows, good for a rummage in when you're waiting for someone! The staff are very helpful too, I went in looking for a particular type of moisturiser one day but they didn't stock it so the lady behind the counter ordered it in specially for me, it was nice to see that she didn't give the usual lazy response of "i think they stock it in...try there". I look the look of the shop too, nice clean white surfaces, just like a chemist should look!

The cost at a different chemist for the same steroids EUR 6.62 Queried this to the pharmacist who said that depending on the chemist such price disparities can happen.....over 3 TIMES more expensive...felt violated!!! The staff in here are very friendly and really konw their stuff. One thing i like about this chemist is the fact that they sell and display cheaper alternatives to normal tablets, like solpadeine and nurofen, they are the same ingredients and work the same but are alot cheaper and the staff here are willing to advise you on it and encourage you to go for the cheap alternative, they are not out for money, you feel they care about the person not just the sale.

The staff is excellent and has several times taken pity on my lost and forlorn look and readily offered assistance. I'm not sure if it was because I was a guy and couldn't figure which brand of motion sickness mediciine was the one closest to my wife's usual brand and had that panicked oh-lord-which-one-will-make-her-happy look or because I'm an American who was wandering the aisle's in the vain hope of finding cough syrup (for my American readers-ya gotta ASK for it, it's kept behind the counter and they may ask for 17 different proofs-of-age before letting you buy it), but the staff has been very helpful and friendly each and every time I've been in. Bottom Line: Service with a smile gets an extra star..
