I've been coming here since I was a child and I will say the service is still the same. The wait time remains the same, the doctors that I've known for years are very helpful and always make me feel comfortable. It's an outpatient facility so there is no fancy equipment there but the doctor is very knowledgeable and passionate about patient care. However, I can say they need to better their staff image, I understand it's not in the greatest location of LA but if the medical assistants can look more professional it would definitely change the way I feel about the facility. read more

It was very easy communication in the beginning, and after a while I needed some extra paperwork to fill out. Even thought the center where I did labs and MRI were already send them the result, but they were too busy to fill out. I understand, they have too many patients, but hanging up on the phone and not answering after, thats frustrating, in addition, I called from different number and they would pick up. If you have same issue dont bother yourself by calling, just go straight to the office, they will do it. read more

PARKING LOT ATTENDANT REVIEW When we first pulled up the older guy in a safety vest was coming from the clinic parking lot so my mom asked him if there was parking for the clinic he said "I don't know" as he walked away, my mom asked something else and we got absolutely no info. My dad then asked someone else standing by the door (found out later it was a patient that my dad spoke to) when the person at the door answered the safety vest guy then said "PARKING!! 5 DOLLARS!!" When he came to the car to charge I asked him how come he said he didn't know? With his voice raised he said "I told you guys where the parking was!" When I told him "6 ears and not one of is heard him say that" he still had the courage to say "if you don't like it....get out!" while my dad was looking for a 5 with his wallet open in front of him. read more

This was my first time visiting this clinic & it was unreal! Also my first time leaving a yelp review. My wife went in to do a medical and was told to go back for results on Monday the following week. Well, today was literally the third time. I went alone today to pick up the results, and I was told they needed her signature. (Why didnt Dr. Sam mentioned this to her) We saw four different receptionist/nurse and 2 was delusional. They had to do a second medical because one of the receptionist wasn't in the day we were told to pick up the results, and she wasn't answering her phone. Like no kind of communication, no team work, for sure can't handle a tough situation like this. I had to go in the office and tell them that I already paid 2 weeks ago for her bio & we can't wait anymore. So they let her in the room once again to get evaluated. Most of all, Dr. Sam is right there not doing or saying anything because they have alota clients to attend. Greedcu is what it is for me. This was an awful experience. The three times I drove down there is 30 min. One way. This will be a forth because my wife is going to pick it up. What a waste of time & money. Cant complaint for what the clinic is. He is fast to facts and not BS. He has tons of knowledge and super resourceful. He has multiple way of contacting other specialist same day not wait for results in and out with the truth. Unbelievably poor care. Doctor Ghalili was nothing but dismissive both times I had to go in to see him. He refused to listen to me and, instead, bulldozed the conversations both times, not even letting me explain the concerns I was having. He prescribed me one medication that made me extremely ill (four days of nausea, vomiting, and diarrhea after 1-1/2 doses). When I went back in to get a different medication, he acted like I was an absolute imposition to him. When I tried to have the second prescription filled at my pharmacy, they told me that the insurance required a "Prior Authorization" to cover it (since there had already been one med prescribed, they needed an explanation as to why the second one was being prescribed in order to fully cover the cost). When I called Dr. Ghalili's office to ask them to send that information to my insurance, I was told that he would not do it. I spent three days begging his office staff to get him to send that Prior Authorization to my insurance - I even had my insurance call his office directly - and he utterly refused to communicate with my insurance. The nurses actually told me, verbatim, "He doesn't talk to insurance" and "*he* says you don't need it" when, in fact, I absolutely did need it. He refuses to hold himself to the most basic standards of a practicing physician, he clearly does not care about his patients' health, mental or physical, and I would not wish him on anyone. read more

Diamond in the rough. Amazing! I wasn't feeling well and my regular Dr. didn't have time to see me till the next week. A friend recommended Dr.Sam and I couldn't be happier. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Dr. sam is incredibly caring and knowledgeable. Although they were busy, he took the his time to examine me, told me what he thought the issue is and what needs to be done to treat it. Answered my annoying questions ... really an amazing doctor. Carol was awesome she helped me fill out paperwork for my referral and followed up with me right away when my referral was approved. She also helped schedule an appointment to see the specialist. Just went in for a throat/sinus infection and even though it was supposed to cost $80 for consultation and shot to relieve the pain, Dr. Ghaili only charged me $60 as that is all I had on me in cash. I offered to go to an ATM to get more cash, but he said it was fine. Awesome guy. Just make sure you have enough cash! ;) read more

I have been seen and treated from the oldest member of the Ghalili's and up to his sons since I was a little girl about 6-7 years old. I'm now 30.. I would have insurance to go to Kaiser or Cedars Sinai, and no matter what! I always always return to this urgent care. I am never disappointed and can rely on fast cure and/or prompt relief. I am so very thankful I can still visit this place! Three different occasions my sister and I couldn't find solutions with the other hospitals and would take weeks still in pain, one visit here boom within three days in our case we were all better! Dr. Sam Ghalili is great. I consider him one of the best things of south LA besides the Mexican food. He's treated me for various conditions throughput the years. I've gone in for my stomach flu, cold/flu, acne and my dry, itchy scalp. I think you can see him for anything that's bothering you health-wise. Parking is $5. Free if you park on the streets, which is not too hard to find except for Thursdays and Fridays when the street sweeper comes. read more

Medical care usually falls into two categories: figure out who your primary care provider is and wait for a week for a referral; or, try your luck in urgent care with a long wait and high prices. Well this urgent care clinic is different: inexpensive, quick, and the doctor is great. The neighborhood is not where I would expect to find a clinic but this probably contributes to the short wait times. In and out in 20 minutes including prescriptions for just a $50 fee. Some copays are that much! Worth a visit if you are downtown and want to see a doctor quickly on your lunch break. 4 stars just due to the location. read more

I got here at 7:50 am for shots for my 12 yr old it is now 10 am and all the people that were here after me have been called and we are still waiting..
