I cannot say enough at how much I appreciate this clinic. i have taken all of my fur babes to this…read moreclinic and I have never been disappointed. when my first baby, Gabby had to be euthanized, they put us in a room and the doctor came in and sat with me and just let me hold my baby until she passed. They did not rush me to leave In fact, she told me to take my time and let them know when I was ready and they would come back and get her. They offered to help me in any way they could to make it easier for me. That meant the world to me. I now have a 12 week old toy poodle and I would not think of taking here anywhere else. Thank you to the staff at Highlands Vet Clinic.

I called to see if they could possibly get my Aussie/Great Pyrenees in a day earlier to get groomed since she was a mess. They were able to squeeze her in! I drove from pikeville (45 mins) and she was done in about 4 hours, which isn't bad regarding the last minute change and all the dark, sticky mud/clay she got into. They took their time making sure she was completely spotless, de shedded, and cleaned around the ears and backside. Super grateful for their accommodation and the work they did on her! She smells and looks great! Also, they have large individual crates with mats in the back to make sure your doggo is well taken care of before and after their time. I am definitely coming back here for all her grooming needs! Very clean building, very cute decor, and pleasant staff!

Never Again!, my dog was drunk and traumatized. I later, while listening to others in a vet office, overheard that their dogs had to be sedated also. I realized then, that is was not my dog needing sedated, but it was the groomers lack of experience and knowledge of animals. I prefer a person with the experience to handle a nervous dog. Penelopes Pets is the place. don't make the mistake and take them elsewhere, your dog could be the next one sedated.

I wish that I could leave 10 Stars! Words cannot adequately…read moreexpress our appreciation to Melissa Howard and Dawg Dynasty for their outstanding and loving care of our dog Macie during the Christmas Holidays. The facility was immaculate and well equipped. The kennels were large with elevated pet beds and blankets. We were also allowed to bring Macie's bed to help her feel at home, as well as her favorite toys. The outside play area was securely fenced and offered a covered area for those reluctant to relieve themselves in the rain. There were also elevated beds for those guests wanting to enjoy the sun. Much to our (and other family member's) delight, pictures were regularly shared of our pup enjoying her Christmas vacation with "new friends". Santa even appeared on Christmas Eve and left each pup a stocking full of toys and treats. It's difficult to leave a furbaby anytime, but Dawg Dynasty treats their " four-legged guests" like beloved family members. Although this was our first stay, we cannot imagine boarding Macie at any other facility.
