The donation area is on the south side and just to the right of the entrance. When dropping off items, the staff will ask if you want a 20% off coupon. The store is large with two main sections. Housewares, furniture, electronics, books, vinyl records, and CDs at the front. Then there is children's, men's, and women's clothing. Even further into the store, there is more women's clothing. Prices are very reasonable, and the items are generally in good condition. At the Kennedy store, the electronic section has power bars to test if the electronic items work. I didn't see it at this location. Glass display cases near the front have designer brand items like purses and high-heeled shoes.

Of a Kind is one part vintage clothes store and one part vinyl record retailer. The clothing selections are pretty specific to be aimed at the hipster vintage lover. While the styles didn't speak to me personally, I'll admit things were really affordable compared to the vintage shopping prices you'll find on Queen Street West. So if the vintage clothing thing is your look, consider this to be a heads up. The vinyl selection is made up of a mix of newer indie rock (Foster the People, the Black Lips, and Metric were a few of the names for example) and some classics (Portishead's self titled album caught my eye specifically) and smaller groupings of used dance records (think classic house and early rave stuff like Moby), funk/soul (Sly and the Family Stone, Tina Turner, more commercial type stuff seems to overwhelm the selections), surf rock and a few other genres as well. The place has a really welcoming vibe and the staff all seem really friendly too, including their resident dog-ployee who helps greet customers. What's not to love about that? I'm sure as the store grows, gets off the ground, gets more stock and establishes itself that there will be continual reasons to at least pop your head in and give it a browsing, so get on it and go find yourself a deal!
