What bothered me was being told that another party was waiting for our specific table when what I observed afterward did not support that explanation. If there was another reason they wanted us to leave, I would have preferred simple honesty. The food was genuinely excellent, which makes the experience especially disappointing. Hospitality is about more than what is served on the plate; it is also about how guests are treated.
