This food truck‑turned‑local obsession cranks out huge portions of savory pad Thai, drunken noodles, curries and spring rolls that folks on the internet swear could feed an army or at least your teenager after practice and the boba smoothies (think Thai tea, peach and honeydew) hit like a cold punch in July. I wish I could have enjoyed the meal in a restaurant because Thai food can be tricky to eat in a car or out of a box, but it was absolutely delicious. The woman who served us was very sweet and even offered free Thai tea samples, which were super tasty. I ordered the tofu pad Thai (vegan) and it was amazing. The portion was huge, definitely enough for two people, but I was happy to have leftovers. My friend ordered the chicken drunken noodles and loved it too. She very friendly, effervescent and knows what she's doing. I tried something that I've never had before and was swayed when she told me it was a family recipe and her favorite. I had the chicken apple grilled cheese, sounded different, and it was quite good. It came with cole slaw and pickles or you can choose chops instead. I thought the creamy swiss cheese and the flavors of the chicke, apple, lemon, celery with mayo really worked, so great job. My honey had the Margherita grilled cheese which was mozzarella, roma tomatoes, fresh basil, garlic and balsamic vinegarette that also worked quite well. We enjoyed out sandwiches while sitting on the beach and I'm looking forward to my next visit to try some more of Stephanie's cool grilled cheese combinations. I might even try one of her hot dogs.
