Went pretty early (around 1930) and having booked a table for 2000 we thought a drink (to check the place over) was in order.
A friendly welcome and happy waitress who spoke better English than I can speak Spanish.
When you see more locals than tourists it usually means that the food is good and I find that this theory has served us well.
Had a starter of beef, Parmesan and some spicy potatoes which was perfect after a day of eating very little.
The main course was very good too. We had some spicy chicken with rice and beans the port, bell peppers and mashed potatoes.
They told me that the risotto and octopus wasn't available that night - wasn't upset by that tragic news [smile]
A very nice, fruity bottle of rosé finished everything, but we skipped desert. I regret that part, but overall some very nice food, served quickly and with helpful and genuinely friendly staff.
