I vowed to never return and considered those who liked hot yoga, bonkers. Then I tried Yoga Shack. A friend convinced me to try their free class. He assured me that if a drank enough water throughout the day and I watched my breathing, I wouldnt have an issue. Let's just say, ever since that night, I have been hooked. First off, I found the environment at Yoga Shack was welcoming and warm. There is a real sense of community here and it feels genuine. The hot room we practiced in was very large with markings on the floor to make it easier to find a spot. I really like this feature since sometimes I find myself wondering where I should situate myself. During $5 or free classes I would suggest getting there extra early to snag a spot in the room. Yes, even if that means waiting outside in the cold. Its worth it! There is plenty of parking outside across the road, just make sure you abide by any signs from the surrounding businesses. I really enjoy the variety of classes that Yoga Shack has to offer. There really is something for everyone, including beginner classes with less heat. Whenever someone asks me where they should try yoga, I always suggest Yoga Shack. Finding low cost classes is easy as they are plentiful and the staff there are friendly, welcoming, and they love what they do!

This studio is really fresh and clean and the hot room is fairly large. I felt I couldn't fully connect with the classes since they are all the same. All "Moksha Yoga" classes are the same sequence of 40 moves, regardless of what teacher you get. This totally makes sense for a branded fitness businesses. Personally I really enjoy more of a flow yoga that varies from class to class. Don't get me wrong, there are flow and yin classes here, they just aren't as often as the "Moksha Yoga". If you are looking for a consistent workout, Moksha is a good choice. You'll always know what to expect. For anyone new to hot yoga, drink a ton of water during the day and dont eat beforehand. But for over 5 years I have had the same problem with yoga shack which has led me to a point where I will no long recommend them. I had so many problem with my login account online for prebooking (and it got to a point where you had to prebook in order to get a spot- before covid)- i emailed the staff, mindbody account, chat support, and called many times and never came to a solution. I had to create a new gmail email specific for yogashack in order to solve the problem just so i can use yogashacks online account. My biggest concern now, more than ever, is you can never get staff on the phone for support. I recently bought the virtual account, i followed all the instructions and did everything recommended if your having problems logging in and its not working. Im hoping to speak to a staff to problem solve. I have been calling for a half hour and someone is picking up and then hanging up. I have yet to get a response to my email. So now the purchase I made- I wont be able to utilize. And zero refunds. Trying to get a hold of a staff member before class is impossible. Part of owning a business is customer service. and yoga shacks customer service in regards to answering the phone and response to emails has been non existent for years. Esp in a time w COVID everything changed- itd be nice to be able to get a hold of staff for concerns. I rate their customer service - 0 I would not recommend yoga shack you will have problems with your account and you wont be able to get support to solve it.

Some classes are peaceful with gentle music, some are more energetic with music to get you pumped up. Each class though will put you through a good workout and stretch-the teachers giving options for people who are just learning the pose and alterations for people who are knowledgable and want to deepen into the pose. The people attending are all kinds of people, which I enjoy. The attendees and teachers alike bring an energy of support and gratefulness, at the end of class I always think "Yeah, we did it! I feel good!" and everyone is smiling. The space is clean, bright, and really easy to get to. If you happen to want to run errands before or after class, there are plenty of shops to visit in Wortley. I highly recommend Yoga Shack!
