I have been going to yoga shack for over 5 years. They used to be the best price yoga in town. Due to covid there prices have changed which is understandable. But for over 5 years I have had the same problem with yoga shack which has led me to a point where I will no long recommend them. I had so many problem with my login account online for prebooking (and it got to a point where you had to prebook in order to get a spot- before covid)- i emailed the staff, mindbody account, chat support, and called many times and never came to a solution. I had to create a new gmail email specific for yogashack in order to solve the problem just so i can use yogashacks online account. My biggest concern now, more than ever, is you can never get staff on the phone for support. I recently bought the virtual account, i followed all the instructions and did everything recommended if your having problems logging in and its not working. Im hoping to speak to a staff to problem solve. I have been calling for a half hour and someone is picking up and then hanging up. I have yet to get a response to my email. So now the purchase I made- I wont be able to utilize. And zero refunds. Trying to get a hold of a staff member before class is impossible. Part of owning a business is customer service. and yoga shacks customer service in regards to answering the phone and response to emails has been non existent for years. Esp in a time w COVID everything changed- itd be nice to be able to get a hold of staff for concerns. I rate their customer service - 0 I would not recommend yoga shack you will have problems with your account and you wont be able to get support to solve it. read more

I love Yoga Shack! The staff are simply wonderful! They are always welcoming and helpful. They will verbally tell the pose, explain it briefly, go around and kindly let you know if there is something you need to adjust. Some classes are peaceful with gentle music, some are more energetic with music to get you pumped up. Each class though will put you through a good workout and stretch-the teachers giving options for people who are just learning the pose and alterations for people who are knowledgable and want to deepen into the pose. The people attending are all kinds of people, which I enjoy. The attendees and teachers alike bring an energy of support and gratefulness, at the end of class I always think "Yeah, we did it! I feel good!" and everyone is smiling. The space is clean, bright, and really easy to get to. If you happen to want to run errands before or after class, there are plenty of shops to visit in Wortley. I highly recommend Yoga Shack! read more

This review is from before covid. I was shopping around for a new yoga place in London and decided despite the reviews for this place I'd check them out. When I got there they said it's $15 for the class or offered me a deal for $45 for unlimited classes for however long and I said no because I wanted to see what the classes were like... and I am so glad I did! Worst class I've even been to in my life. The instructor just sat there, didn't correct anyone's form or explain anything further than just verbally saying what the position is called. I sat in the front of the room and had to keep turning around to see what everyone else was doing. Lazy instructor, dirty studio, never returning and I suggest anyone avoid this place. read more

Foundation to a structured feed: Did the 12:05 Class today with Noah supposed to be a 45 mins class. Instructor did not start his class till 12:11 and ended at 12:50 I'm paying for a 45 minute class. Noah is a very nice guy but very confusing as heck. He uses way too many filler words. Wish that the class can be taught without a lecture. Most of us have been doing yoga for a long time and have the understanding to it. When you're lead by an instructor who is not focused on teaching but talking is hard to follow. Please Noah pay attention to your class and drop the lecture part. read more

I've tried many different yoga studios, and never felt truly welcomed or comfortable at any until I found Yoga Shack, they are inclusive and friendly, allowing even the most beginner students or out of shape moms (me!) to feel safe in their space. I especially enjoyed their pre natal classes and the care and knowledge the teachers gave me when I was pregnant. Kudos to Yoga Shack for creating this wonderful Oasis in London! read more
