I wasn't in a rush but it just felt way longer than you should have wait for something like this. I enjoyed it just fine...but for the time it took, it didn't come off as anything special. It was pretty runny rather than a thicker milkshake that I was expecting. Maybe that is their style but you could get a more traditional McFlurry at McDonald's that tastes better in about 3-4 minutes for a fraction of the price.

However, I wasn't the biggest fan of the ranch and syrup together - maybe it's just personal taste though. The sandwich was also a bit small for the $14 price point - I left definitely wanting some more food in the belly. Overall, not a bad place. I went with the House Waffle and added 1 chicken tender. The waffle was really good. I'm glad I only ordered 1 chicken tender because I didn't care for it. It seemed to be a frozen tender fried in old grease. My daughter had the pizza waffle. She enjoyed but couldn't eat it all. There is also a Starbucks attached that serves drinks. Service was just okay. Nothing stood out. I'd definitely recommend the waffles.

There are many regulars that we see and speak to every week. That's how you know people like a place and feel welcome... they keep coming back. Crystal (the owner/manager) is kind and wonderful. She is on top of things and I've seen her do every job from computer work to straightening up to helping cook in the back. She seems to be the type of person who is willing to do whatever needs to be done. She also seems to have a great relationship with her staff and that's also very important. Manuel is very friendly and helpful. He's knowledgeable about their menu and always remembers what our friend likes to drink when she forgets what it's called. I love the openness and space. There's a couch and chairs in the back if you feel like lounging, plenty of tables in the front for eating, working, or just sitting at. There are games that people can play although sometimes children get ahold of them and pieces go missing. There is also a little kids play area which is golden when you have a toddler. I love that I can sit and have my food/coffee and also keep an eye on my little guy while he plays. It's a wonderful place to meet with people or to just take your kids when you need to sit down with a cup of coffee while they play. They have a good variety of drinks on top of the seasonal offerings. The food is good, and I kind of love that a lot of it is made in a waffle iron. It makes me want more waffle shaped food. The grilled cheese is made with sourdough bread and cooked in a waffle iron. It has these little crispy bits that are heavenly.
