My fiancé loved the mango margarita. You can tell they use fresh ingredients! Overall, the food and drinks here are delicious! My favorite place to eat while in Bar Harbor. It's nice but smaller, so you may encounter a wait but they clear tables quickly to get folks in and out. They also have 2 large bars available, and we've found it easier to find open seats there. The servers are always friendly with good recommendations. Large selection of beer available on tap with a full bar selection; you will find something you like here! The food? It is terrific and everything comes out with that smoky, wood fired flavor. Yum! Yesterday, we started with the bacon wrapped scallops (with blueberry sauce). OMG so good! I got the wood grilled lobster, which was so delightful and somehow manages to be completely different from all the other lobster options around town due to the grilling. Terrifically delicious! My husband got the burger, which he said was super good too (he's not into lobster). Blaze is probably our most consistent stop around town, and there's a reason why. It's worth a visit.

It looked like they have plenty of seating outside for nicer weather and I was surprised that they had a decent amount of seating inside. It would've been nice if they shut the doors leading outside as it got quite chilly inside as our rain soaked bodies started to cool down. What we got: Lobster roll with clam chowder - 4* the lobster roll was decent. I'm resigned to admit I'm not a lobster fan. The clam chowder was good and I wish I had a larger serving! We ordered the midnight cocktail, a beer, the seafood chowder, prosciutto toast, patatas bravas, and duck tacos. I enjoyed all of the items, if I were visiting again I would reorder the tacos and the patatas. I know tapas typically are served as they're ready, not all at once, but each of our items were pretty spaced out so we were only eating one plate a time. I wish they were served a little closer together. I would love to come by again on a summer night to try a different cocktail and some of the other menu items. As other reviews have stated, the drinks and tapas are a little pricey, even for the area, but worth the splurge for a romantic evening or special occasion.
