Mixed satisfaction eating here. The Pollo a la Crema was good if you like cream based dishes. But the tamales are much more masa than meat, which I had a hard time finding and do not come with a corn husk wrap. The chili relleno was really different. Some sort of egg envelope with a green chile inside. It wasn't very tasty and I wouldn't call it a relleno. Soft drinks are a stiff $3.55, approaching the cost of a beer. The rice is slightly seasoned and fluffy but the beans are too salty. The fresh salsa is spicy and good. And the coleslaw is surprisingly good; not out of balance, mild, and tasty. Our server was excellent, even with a high table load. But beware: they normally only have one server, one busser, and one salsa server.

What an excellent place, with great service and nice presentation. The food was well prepared with fresh ingredients and very tasty.

Fabian and Maria what has happened to your restaurant? I have not been in for several years as you guys began charging for extra salsa. Stopped in on Labor Day only to find out that you have continued the poor idea of charging for salsa. You are the only place in the area that does this. I also ordered the two relleno combo after asking about the special Mexican relleno and was told by your wait staff that you don't have them anymore. The little piece of pepper inside over cooked egg was not the best. Rice had no flavor but the beans rocked. I hate to say it but fiesta Guadalajara with remain my place of choice. I would seriously work on the quality of your food as it has gone down hill.

Place is cute and staff is so nice. Chips, drinks, and salsa were very good. I got the enchiladas which were a little small, but still good!

Not a big fan. Slow service and the food isn't great. Lots of better Mexican food in the area.

Prices gone up. portion sizes went down. Cheapness has hit the Salsa Grill. Better Mexican restaurants in town.

What a cute place to find in the sleepy Saturday night town of Payette!…read more Downtown Payette is what Caldwell once looked like before investors went in and built more businesses. The streets are dark and very few places are open and that makes me sad because this could be such an adorable old town downtown vibe for locals! So don't miss this restaurant towards the end of Main Street and then hop across the street to Hammer Time for family fun with axe throwing! El Kamaron has done a great job with their interior decor, seating layout, has a full bar, and an extensive menu that includes quite a bit of seafood options! It's the Torres Mariscos that sold me on trying this place and it didn't disappoint! This is a menu item that you'd see regularly in a beach town in Mexico like in Nayarit, MX! It was loaded with shrimp, octopus, and crab. I was so excited to just eat the meats that I didn't even want crackers or chips. Just let me feast on the meats with the avocado, cucumber, onion and tomato and I'm in heaven! I'll be back for this item alone! I also ordered a holiday specialty drink called the cranberry Paloma and I loved it. It was beautifully presented with a dehydrated orange slice and floating cranberries with a Chamoy and Tajin rim. I tossed my straw to the side so I could enjoy each sip with the rim! The staff ate so lovely and friendly with smiles and always ask how you're doing and if you need anything! You order at the table but pay at the bar counter closest to the door. There were two birthday celebrations going on and each birthday baby (adults in their 60's) received a cute colorful shot in a champagne flute and the entire restaurant sang to them. It was an enjoyable experience!

Since I was already planning on being in town, I made it my mission to stop by and try. I ordered an Asada Burrito with Hot Cheetos (asada, rice, beans, cheese, onion, cilantro and stuffed with Flamin' Hot Cheetos, $8.50) with sides of red and green sauce. The wait wasn't long at all. The first thing I noticed was how freaking heavy the damn thing was. It was huge! Definitely worth the price if we're talking about value. Idk about you, but I am a huge fan of Hot Cheetos. I have eaten entire bags of it by myself during a movie. I bring them on any road trip, plane ride, and especially backpacking trips (something about greasy goodness and mountains in the middle of nowhere that brings me serenity). Anyway, the moment I took a bite my taste buds knew nothing else other than I was born to eat this burrito. And another one, if I didn't have a holiday party to attend later that day. I put Hot Cheetos in my sandwiches all the time, but in a burrito? Not only did it add copious amounts of flavor, but the extra crunch between bites was so satisfying! If you're ever in the little town of Payette you really should stop by! Great prices, delicious food.

Nice big screen to see what they offer on the menu. During the week days they have taco, burrito and bowl specials. They have a large seating area after you order. If you have take out to wait for your food at counter. If you have dine in they will bring to your table. Not too sure about cross contamination due to the food being set up like chipotle and subway. So I guess there is some with the toppings. The one o would be worried about is seafood allergy. I was not able to get a picture but you might want to make sure they done fry fish and shrimp in the same basket as fries and taquitos. Co-worker ordered nachos and one got enchiladas. Both of them had elements that were microwaved to make warm. The nachos were microwaved to melt the cheese and the enchiladas the green sauce was placed in a plastic bowl microwaved then poured over enchiladas. I don't like when places have to use microwaves but they have 3 of them I say. I had the taquitos. I must admit, the flavor was good. Fried just right. Not a fan of green salsa so an option would have been nice. They only brought green out with my dinner.
