Two friends and I came here for hair and makeup for a bachelorette. We were extremely unimpressed with their business practices. We arrived 8 minutes late for our scheduled appointments. You would have thought by the way they acted we casually strolled in 45 min late. - My hair dresser made a point of telling me we were starting late and asked if I still wanted a wash and blow dry with my partial up do. I said it was ok not to do the wash and blow dry, that way it was less time, and my hair holds better that way anyways. No worries. Why she had to point out I was less than 10 min late, I'm not sure. Note: all 3 of us did not do our scheduled wash and blow dry. - My friend arrived and the make up artist still hadn't gotten her after waiting for 7 min. My friend made the front desk aware and someone came to get her. She was promptly told she was 15 minutes late and she would not have time to finish her makeup. They charged her full price and did not do her eyeliner or mascara because they did not have time. Unbelievable. Any good business should be able to accommodate a client if they are less than 10 minutes late. This blows my mind. - My other friend had her hair done as well, but the hair dresser was also doing some else's highlights at the same time and had to leave her twice. It became more apparent that this salon cares more about the number of clients than it does the quality of its services. - My friend waited for her turn with make up but after no one was coming to get her (she was on time as her appts were booked later), she cancelled her appt and did it herself. Based on business practice alone, I would never recommend this salon and will never return. The hair and makeup was okay, but not amazing. - They used black bobby pins in blonde hair. - Hair went flat - Make up selection was lacking and the brand was subpar Overall it was very disappointing. Got my haircut and she didnt do what I had asked for. She was also very aggressive and pulled my hair a lot which hurt.

I really like Brianne of you go here ask for her she is very nice and from my experience she was very conscientious of how I was doing, I am very shy and don't really ask or comment on things I want most of the time and I think she picked up on that and made a habit of asking me often if the water was to hot or the blow dryer, if I needed more towels while my head was in the sink to rest my head on etc. Not to mention my colour turned out beautifully! Love the colour and will definitely be coming back just to see her lol. Also decided to purchase a shampoo and conditioner she personally recommended for my colour and my hair has never been so soft and shiny with such little product needed. Amazing. read more

Took my mother for facial hair removal, simple procedure. Mom was left awestruck by how rude the girl Melissa was to her. Mom said nothing till a month later or I would not of paid. Extreemly expensive for a mall salon. It's always a toss up if you'll get a stylist who knows what they are doing. I've had Very few there who I'd go see again to the point where I gave up going all together. I was once left with colour in my hair 15 mins past the timer going off (1hour in total) and had to go walk around to find somebody to wash me out, I have dermal piercings on my face and I literally shudder at the thought of a brush and blow dry here cause every single stylist has caught one or both of my dermals in the comb once ripping it to the point it bled bad and I was offered no compensation or even a sorry. I've been burnt on the scalp by 2 blow dryers on 2 individual occasions. Once she was so gapped out staring off into the distance while blow drying she started to point the dryer right into my face at point blank range till I had to grab it to stop her. I've had my back and shoulders of my shirt soaked by getting my hair washed multiple times by different people. Dark brown dye stained literally half my forehead and ears and neck than told "sorry were out of remover pads, go home and use acetone" I've given numerous chances but I give up. read more

I had a bad experience at Salon you last winter. I called to say I was running 10 minutes late due to road conditions. When I arrived the receptionist was rude and said the stylist could not take me. I asked if someone else could or even at a later time. She said NO. But yet, when a stylist is running late...........we don't cancel !! I left furious and decided never to go back. Recently I thought I would give them another chance. I booked online after reviewing the more experienced stylist I decided to try Loretta. Loretta welcomed me like I was a current client even though I never met her. I told her about my experience there from the winter and she was very concerned. Apologized several times and thanked me for giving them another opportunity. I loved the hair cut ! Loretta listened to me and recognized the importance of customer service and satisfaction. I returned the same week for a hair colour from Loretta and once again was pleased with the service. Sal the owner greeted me and said he appreciated that I gave them another chance and once again apologized. Sal gave me a gift certificate for a pedicure. (Which I can't wait to use !) It goes to show, that if you have a bad experience, especially in the service industry you must speak up and tell the manager or they can never make it right. read more

My daughter got her hair done for prom here. She asked for simple curls and her hair down. When she was done her hair was in an updo and my daughter hated it, my daughter is very shy and just let it happen but she was charged a lot more just because this stylist​ decided for her to put it up. very nice place but staff needs to be more considerate of what their customers​ want. read more

I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. I went in for a TRIM with Emma, showing her a photo of what I would like. The front of my hair is always shorter for face shaping and more length in the back. I have damaged hair from chemicals and regardless of how much she took I am going to have damaged ends again. She took it off to my EARS. Let me tell you that's not a trim. I told her I'm a server which means I need to wear my hair up. It's not an option now. read more

I have been going to Salon You for several years now and have only had positive experiences with the procedures I have had done here . The staff is friendly and helpful and I have never had to wait. I have always been happy with the cuts and colours I have had done here and I have been to several different stylists at Salon You. I have also had waxings and pedicures done here that I was extremely impressed with. I also like the fact that they carry very good organic skin care products (Eminence) that I had been using before they started carrying them. read more
