I was a walk-in at around 1:30 and they had me in a chair within five minutes, not bad at all! The owner and Barbi, the woman who did my hair, were absolute sweethearts! They mad me feel very welcome. Barbi is not only super friendly but an excellent hair stylist as well!! I had attempted to go to another salon a few months prior who butchered the bangs I wanted :( Barbi did the bangs with perfect precision. I can tell she has an eye for detail. The price isn't too bad but it is a little pricy. However with the care that these women put into their work, I don't mind paying a little extra. I'll definitely be coming back!

My stylist was Barbie, she did a fantastic job! I've been looking for a stylist in Conway for about 2 years - Couldn't be more pleased about my cut! Will definitely come again! They do accept credit cards and have a cool phone swipe thing that calculates tips - no math! :)

She said, yes, yes, yes and then proceeded to cut it at least 3 inches shorter than in the picture... and then took FOREVER to style it. fortunately my hair grows very fast so maybe it will look like I wanted before too long. --- editing my review and upgrading it a bit after washing it and letting it air dry. Not at all what I wanted in length but it does look very cute. Wavy and bouncy.

So imagine my surprise when I paid $18 for an excellent haircut at Jordan-Bailey here in Conway, Ar. The salon is located in a little cluster of shops off Prince Street and one could pass it by if one wasn't being driven by their son who lives in town. My appointment was with April, who came highly recommended by my son and his roommates. She was probably the most personable, genuine person I've met on my travels to date. Very knowledgeable about hair and hair products I might add. She suggested keeping the length of my hair but still took off enough so I felt like I had a haircut and not a 'trim'. April has been doing this for six years and enjoys what she's doing which, in my opinion,enhances the chances of getting a cut you like. I know I did. It's funny, I could see her living in S.F. or L.A. and fitting right in. She is quite humble too as it was difficult to tip her back something for her artistic efforts! The owner, Greg Nobles has been in this location for three years but has been in the business since 1997. He, like the staff, is very personable and knows his clientele well. Even after moving across the country I still fly back to Arkansas periodically and always stop in for a 'do. He has a friendly, talented staff and the atmosphere is great.
