I am only leaving two stars. The interior is nice. The stylists are friendly. I was very specific on what I asked for. I ended up with one half of my head shorter than the other. Picture above. I don't know what can be done to fix such a drop. I even told my stylist the last one did that. It took me three months to grow it out. And here I am again. I am waiting on owner to call me back. Other than trying to curl it to hide this disaster. I'm at at a loss. Hoping that I get a partial refund. Color turned out okay. read more

I just got the best haircut ever from this place. My stylist was Michayla (I think that's how you spell it), and she was AMAZING. She did exactly what I wanted and she did an amazing job. I wish I could write something better but I can't. I came in for a consultation with the owner a couple weeks prior to my service. Showed her were I'd like to be it was a level 10 blonde I was already had blonde in my hair I didn't think it would be hard to lift nor did I expect to get to that level in one sitting. The owner ensured me that her stylist would be able to do it and she'd be there to help. The day of my appointment I got a call to come later I said no because I was already excited to get my hair done. I will post pics of what I had before previously and what I left with from this salon. The owner said highlights would help I said sure. So me being pretty light with my new growth didn't think it would be bad. It was bad I left the salon with my end yellow my roots orange and I cried. I had to go back to my previous salon to get it fixed because I couldn't go to work like this (military regulations). Now the worst part was that I didn't make a scene and just called because I was really upset. Yes being upset I was freaking out because my hair was yellow and know my job they would have said something. After talking to the manager not trying to argue I just wanted to come to a resolution it was I am too demanding and it was already discount for the amount of work. Doing my hair for four hours and sitting there is a lot on anyone. I told her to just give me half of what I paid and the stylist could keep the tip. The staff was great don't get me wrong just the way I feel like the situation was handled left a very sour taste and bad experience in my book. I will not be returning here. I had one good experience and two relatively bad experiences here. The haircut I received was good, the balayage turned out pretty badly, then the color I received a month or so after the balayage turned my hair black instead of a a shade darker than my light brown hair. Update: They lose a star due to inaccurate pricing. They recently did hair & makeup for a wedding party in which my daughter was a member... and, while the bride was radiant and the attendants were quite lovely, they were charged $20 more apiece than they were originally quoted. When questioned about it, they just shrugged; no apologies. Not cool, especially when you're talking about young folks on tight budgets. read more

Dying hair here is a bad choice, they over charge you and tell you it takes about 3 times to dye your hair when it should only take one time. A picture was given to the stylist and they were way off with the end results. read more

I had dyed my hair a dark brown before I went to the salon and I went in to have it fixed. They made it worse. They put white and blonde small pieces in my dark brown hair. I asked them to lighten all of my hair to my normal color which is a blonde. But they didn't do that. The entire process cost me $156. I went back to my hometown and went to a nicer hair salon to have them fix my hair. They fixed it and it is back to my blonde hair. It is even more healthy looking than it was at Salon Vogue. They (Bella Donna's at Lake of the Ozark) bleached my hair and toned it. I am extremely happy about it. All together there it cost me $124. That is way more reasonable than salon vogue. read more

Received the WORST HAIRCUT EVER from this salon. I walked in, thinking an eyebrow wax and bang trim wasn't too much to ask for. I WAS WRONG. 1. The hair dresser (Olivia) was completely unprofessional and joked about not reaching her "cutting the ear" quota for the day. She also discussed the Murray show with me. 2. I COULD HAVE GONE TO THE BEAUTY SCHOOL FOR A BETTER QUALITY CUT. a. I asked for a thick brow and instead got a mm thin brow. She left the wax on my forehead with the waxed hairs stuck to my head. She also didn't put anything cool on my brows after putting way too hot of wax on. My brows were burnt, being red for a day and hurting for two. b. Now the bangs. I showed her a picture (actually THREE pictures) of a straight bang I wanted. (I already had bangs) not only were my bangs an inch and half shorter than wanted (which is a large difference for bangs), she didn't make them even stating "oh no way are those going to be even because of your curly hair!" then she didn't cut all the pieces so once I got home I had to cut fly always myself. 3. She gave herself a tip! Either she can't do math or doesn't understand that $13 is not $14. I paid with cash and did not receive the correct amount back. I was so furious with the whole experience I didn't even want to argue with her I just left. I will NEVER recommend this salon to any of my friends. I didn't complain to the hair dresser because 1. I didn't know what to do! 2. I wanted to go home and see if it wasn't as bad as I had thought at first. It happened Monday, Feb. 6 and today is the 10th and I'm still angry. read more

I had hired someone to do my bridal party hair but they cancelled a month before the wedding. Salon Vogue stepped up and worked us into what I am sure is a busy schedule. We looked beautiful and they even painted the flower girl's nails to keep her distracted while she waited to have her hair done. read more

Normally the price for a hair cut was $23. I had been there many times for a hair cut that was $23. Last time I got my hair cut, somehow it added up to $32! And she didn't even cut enough off! I seriously think they just want to charge you whatever. I have heard of other people being charged "Whatever" for a hair cut. There are no prices listed anywhere there, so you have no idea what a hair cut really is. The ladies there are also very cliquish. If you don't go to the same lady every time, you honestly get rude vibes from her. I'm sorry, but I'm a college student, I get my hair cut when I can get the free time, not when a particular hair stylist is working. If the new prices are up to $32, or if the lady just upped the price on me, my hair cut was NOT worth that kind of money. The next day when I washed my hair, I could tell she hardly cut anything off. If you are a college student like me, I'm sure we can find a better place in the Burg that is cheaper and friendlier. read more
