I recently visited Nail Bliss in Southfield. While the salon itself was clean, my experience with…read morethe male nail tech was very disappointing. I clearly explained how I wanted my nails shaped and specifically asked that they not be thick or lumpy, but unfortunately that's exactly how they turned out. Some nails were uneven in length, too large for my nail bed, and one even had lint inside the nail. I returned the following day to politely ask if they could be fixed, but the nail tech refused and told me there was nothing wrong with them. When I pointed out the issues, he became dismissive and unprofessional, even stating that he "didn't care." He only fixed one nail and suggested I come back another time instead of correcting the issue then. What made the experience worse was that the owner did not step in to resolve the situation or assist in any way. Because of the poor customer service and lack of professionalism, I would not return or recommend this salon

I sat down for a pedicure and the tech pulled a used emory board/file to start my pedicure and asked if they use new files etc on each client because of hygiene reasons and the tech took her cart away and never returned to do my pedicure. I'm not sure what happened or why she wouldnt do the services. One of her coworkers came over and explained how things worked and the tech never returned. She never told me she was refusing service or anything to indicate she was not going to do my pedicure. Her coworkers said they had no idea what was going on but no one even offered an apology until I asked for one. The man doing my daughter's nails offered to do the pedicure once he finished with her but the first impression had been made already and I'm not interested in coming back Laoy is the techs name, If the person was being honest about it.

First of all, the communication to get info is very frustrating. AGNES is NOT timely on responses…read more When I arrived at 5p the shop was empty for a Friday. So the three ladies were VERY NICE and I'm enjoying my experience UNTIL...a lady came in hollering at me upset saying that what I told her I wanted and what I was getting were too different things. So, I'm shocked and started asking who she was. She said the owner AGNES. I believe there is DEF a language barrier. However, like I told AGNES, I was there to spend money not take from here. I'm going to post the hairstyle I wanted, and what I got. I wanted my crochet styled like the pic I sent. No one told me to get a certain hair, so I got what I've been wearing for FIVE YEARS --GOGO CURL. I normally wear 2 1/2 - 3 packs MAX! One lady was putting a WHOLE CURL in my head. If you know crochet, then one curl can be PULLED APART. AGNES says that's too hard. I advised that I would pull the hair apart. Because the lady used ONE ENTIRE pack on the front quarter of my head, they did NOT have enough hair to finish my head so you will see the pics of what they did! (FIRST 4 PICS and my hair after they finished). Then AGNES Googles my hair telling me I got the wrong hair. Yall I go to Hollywood Beauty on Greenfield and they only have ONE KIND OF GO GO CURL HAIR AND ITS 26 inches BY FREETRESS. Anywho I ended up buying another pack and filling in the gaps. You will see what I DID (LAST 3 PICS AND MY FINISHED PIC), and I have the texts where I sent all of this to AGNES. WILL I GO BACK? I believe I am going to give it ONE MORE CHANCE b/c AGNES apologized and I REALLY want to support this business. I spent $130 and gave the ladies $10 EACH. I also found it odd that they DO NOT have mirrors so you can see the back of your head. I will update if I go back.
