I fortunately this time the hair stylist left most of my hair in the back untouched and charged me $25 more than what was quoted over the phone when I made the appointment and I was there 3 hours! She also had to redo the front while I was there because she left a large portion of the front untouched as well and it still wasn't done right. I don't think she knew what she was doing. I called and left a message for management but never got a return call back. Nevertheless I will never going back there again.

I had a lot of hair loss after my last pregnancy and so this was incredibly disheartening and made me fearful of being turned away again. Well, after a lot of encouragement from my husband to try again I tried Bliss. My stylist was Melissa and she was absolutely great, she was upset that no one wanted to cut my hair in town and took care of me. I enjoyed it and the salon's prices are very reasonable. However my time was hardly relaxing thanks to the way the salon is set up. The room where the esthetician works is just around the corner from the front reception desk. All the conversations from the desk were easy to hear. In addition the bathroom is right next door and you can hear the toilet flushing. The spa waiting room has 2 seats and is open to the salon. Yesterday there was a man who sat there the whole time talking on his cell phone. He was taking up a space that someone getting spa services could use, plus he was loud enough to hear during the facial. This set up is poor, and there are no seats by the receptionist in the salon, so anyone coming in waits in the small spa area. The salon could greatly improve by making a few modifications to their setup. For me, one of the perks of a spa treatment is relaxing afterwards. There was certainly none of that at Salon Adagio. Too bad, but I doubt if I'll come back.

After 15 minutes she said she was done and it didn't look great so I asked her to take some more off. she does, and I get up and leave with an ok haircut. Until later when I get home I realize the left side of my hair is at least a few centimeters longer than the right. She also cut less off the top of my left side. I had a haircut with Brie about a year ago and I got a much better haircut than now. Seems like she rushed my cut to get me out of there. i Paid $65 not including tip for a great clips haircut. The place is nice, but I am very dissatisfied and will not be returning. Come here if you want a waste of money.

My first impression walking in the door was not a good one. There were several employees huddled up chatting, laughing, etc. This felt very click-y and not the environment I was hoping for. I was presented the option to use a robe and slippers and while I do understand that not everyone will take advantage, I felt like I was inconveniencing someone by using these services. Why not invite me in to the locker room, show me my assigned locker, point out the goodies and say, "our robes and slippers are available for you to use!" or something similar. I would rate the massage a 2.5 out of 5. The masseuse did not utilize the time (60 min), nor did she reach my requested pressure points. I felt time was wasted. It was odd. Now, the facial, 8 out of 5! She was so detailed oriented and truly spent so much time on my skin. My upper body was massaged SO much better through my facial than through the full-body massage. She focused on trouble areas and made some recommendations (which I really appreciated!) I was a bit embarrassed leaving there because my face was completely red (looked like a terrible burn), but she said it would subside within an hour and it did. I may skip the massage next time, but definitely plan on giving GiGis another chance, especially for the facials.

I was treated at the front by the receptionist who took my jacket and offered me something to drink, I got hot tea (it was delicious, definitely get some) and the waiting area is nice and smells like the Aveda spa smell (if you've been to any Aveda salon before, you know this specific smell). I then had my hair washed, cut and styled by Jordan. She was super sweet and very kind and very pleasant to talk to. I have loved my haircut both times and definitely plan to go back again soon. The price is very decent for a women's haircut, but I think their pricing is different per stylist.. both times I left feeling very nice and pampered and very happy with the cut!
