While she called my mother (the Wednesday before my wedding), with a story I can only describe as a "personal problem", and agreed via text to refund almost $700, the week after she decided that she was "going to show up" and intended to confirm so conveniently the Thursday before my wedding (even though we'd tried calling and emailing for 7 days straight with no response), therefore she wasn't going to refund anything. A month after my wedding, I'm still having to deal with getting my refund. As someone who owns a business and works in the salon industry, I suggest spending your money on a company more reputable and professional than this one.

I booked Jessica months 4 months before our wedding date. This included makeup for myself, my mother, and my bridal party, as well as a pre-trial makeup run. Three weeks before my wedding, Jessica quit answering emails and phone calls. She also over charged two of my bridesmaids and ignored their requests to be refunded. Three days before my wedding I booked another makeup artist. Jessica proceeded to call me that day with a sob story of why she hadn't answered me. We then agreed that she would not do my makeup, but would still do the makeup of my bridal party and MIL. She NEVER showed up on my wedding day. She sent texts ranging from that she'd be late to she wasn't coming at all and would refund us all. She STILL HAS NOT refunded us and will not take my calls or speak to me. I would advise any bride to go with another company and avoid this unnecessary stress! I hope you all find this review helpful and have a wonderful wedding with a reliable makeup artist!

I purchased a Groupon for this location for full color. Called the salon, told the lady I had a groupon and wanted to make an appointment. Looking back, maybe I should have told them the color I wanted was blond. Might not have had the experience I did. After securing a babysitter, I arrived for my appointment a few minutes early. The stylist greeted me right on time and invited me to her chair. I told her again that I had a groupon and I wanted to go blond. This is where it all started to go bad. Immediately, her face changed and she said that she didn't like to "color to the scalp" and she "didn't feel comfortable because she didn't know my hair". At that point, I should have thanked her and left. But instead, I showed her some pics of what I wanted and that I had it before. She kept commenting on how high maintenance the style was. That I would be constantly having to upkeep it. Which annoyed me. I didn't ask for that. I have been blond before, I know the routine. I told her that. She then stated that she had seen he pictures and she could add some highlights and it would look just like the pictures. Per her, it would be an additional $20 because the Groupon for highlighting was $20 more than the color. I learned later that was false, it was $10 more. But in any case, I was hesitant, but eventually agreed. Throughout the process, I got to know her way more than I wanted to. As a first time guest, I really feel her personal oversharing was just too much. Her illness, dating, husbands, etc etc. Just too much. Finally, it was done. I have curly hair and usually just let it air dry, so I told her that I would air dry it and see how I liked it. We then discussed that if I wasn't happy, I could pay $20 and come back and she would add more highlights. I was also told I could come back for the trim that was included with the original groupon. I got home, decided I did not like it as the contrast was awful. White blond hair blended with my dark brown hair. It was just too stark. I texted her and told her that I wasn't happy. I then brought up maybe she could add some toner, to soften the blond. She stated that it would be the following week before she could add toner. We also discussed adding more highlights. It was agreed I would see her the following week for an additional cost of $30 she would add more highlights and toner. After once again securing a babysitter, I arrived at my appointment and she then told me she couldn't do what we discussed. That dye just cost too much and her time would not allow her to what we discussed. At this point I am stuck. I am not happy with my hair. And I can only imagine how much it would cost to go somewhere else to fix it. She then says for $20 she can add toner all over. After some back and forth, I eventually agree. The process is then completed. At the end of the day, I am still not super happy with the outcome. It's not what I wanted. But after spending what I did, I can live with it. I am disappointed that there are no stipulations on the groupon. I am disappointed that we had an agreement and she changed her mind. I am disappointed because I was hoping I had found a new stylist, but looks like I haven't.

When I walked in, I was greeted with a smiling receptionist asking my name and then getting me to fill some stuff out while I waited. I visited the bathroom and got me some water. They also offer tea I believe. If you're going to get a facial, they usually give you a robe and slippers, but since it was just brow lamination, we didn't get any of that. They did bring us to a waiting area that was dark and had peaceful and relaxing music on. While I was sitting there, a young blonde came in and said my name and I said that was me and she led me down the hallway into a room with a massage table I laid on. She did do a patch test first to make sure I wouldn't be allergic to the ingredients to get my lamination done. After the past test was over, she began her magic. She told me she will be graduating in June. I am going to try to make an appointment to get a facial before she graduates. She was very personable and professional The one thing I find weird is you cannot add a tip when you're checking out you have to either give them cash or cash app or Venmo I was able to give her cash. The receptionist called her back upfront. And they do have a teacher come check out before and after your service. I will definitely be back here sooner than later I love that there is plenty of parking here.
