And yes, I tell her how to do my eyebrows so she does them the way I want. Very accommodating and always aiming to please. That's all I can ask for. Great location too! Near my house and plenty of shooing nearby so it never has to be a special trip. It is very clean and comfortable seating if you have to wait. I have never had to wait very long and usually don't have to wait at all because I go after lunch and before most people get off work. There is a tv in the waiting room too and usually on the food network and I love that. Plenty of gossip and fashion magazines if you would rather that. But again I rarely have to wait.

I just moved to town and went to Glitz and Glamour for a Brazilian wax and mani/pedi. The wax was…read moreabsolutely terrible. My girl is bruised. BRUISED! I have had a lot of Brazilian waxes before and I have never been bruised ever. Also Noelle (the girl that did it) seemed reluctant to even give me a Brazilian and when she thought she was done, I still had a lot a lot of hair left and she had to keep going over and over it again. She said "I thought you just wanted it cleaned up." I did, but in a Brazillian kind of way. Worst than that, she used soft wax, and it was not hot enough so it really adhered to my skin and was hard to peel off afterward. I asked her if she had ever considered using hard wax and she had never heard of it. She left so much wax on me, and handed me a towel to get it off. She did not get enough coverage with the wax and got out the tweezers and pulled as much skin off as she did hair with the tweezers. It hurt so so so much, I almost cried. And like I said, I am no amateur at Brazilians. When I put my pants back on, I realized I had wax on my legs as well. No good. On the up side, she was clean. Very important. I almost left after the Brazilian, but I really needed my nails done. First of all, she had almost no colors to choose from, and I am a total OPI girl, and she had only a hand full of those. I ended up getting my nails clear cause there were so few to choose from. She started doing my nails, and she informed me that she did not cut cuticles. What? That is why your nails look so good after a mani is because your cuticles are so clean. Then she cut my toe nails at an angle on the edges, which she said she knew was a no no but she has always done it and loves the results. What? I am praying for no ingrowns. Ladies, please post your opinions of salons so an out of newbie can find a better place than this.

I made an appointment for eyebrow threading, henna brows, and individual lash extensions. Let me make a note about the appointments. Because they take walk-ins as well, they may not be available at your exact appointment time. However, you usually do not have to wait too long. On yesterday, I made my appointment for when they opened at 10:00 AM so I didn't have to wait at all. My service provider was very nice and professional. She would stop to ask if I was okay and check in to see if I liked what she was doing. I'm very happy with how everything turned out. I think I will start coming here on a more consistent basis. I'm interested in trying some of their facial services because they are reasonably priced. I definitely recommend this place!
