Others they just couldn't do it. So I went many years with no one just me trimming. Well I work at a laundromat and met a women named Michelle Bessett who does hair for a living, for 35 years she's done this. When you walk in there its very inviting, people talking, a good song on the radio, it was just welcoming. Met with a smile. decided to give her a shot. Her hair always looks amazing, A few of my friends go there and they always come out looking like movie stars. I prepaid so that I can't back out like I always do. I went in and told her what I wanted. ( Trim and layered so that my curls will go up my head instead of just on the bottom) she was amazing!!!! She was so understanding of my anxiety and talked me through it. She showed me how much she cut as she was cutting. She was so patient. I actually relaxed and was just enjoying the haircut and talking. She did amazing ! Yall really should go to her and let her do her Magick. Especially if you have a very nervous or scared person. You will definitely not be disappointed! Check out my hair. I am so over the moon!!! She will forever be my hair dresser!!!

I did not hear one whine or complaint and her haircut was adorable! My son's haircut last Looked great too. He hopped right up on the chair and seemed to just love her. I was so pleased with my own haircut as well. My hair is curly and a lot of people don't know how to cut it, but Sarah did a great job. I love it. Highly recommend!

I don't often leave reviews, but I feel compelled to give Cassandra a special shoutout for an…read moreincredible job. My standard MO is to grow my hair out long, and then cut it super short (I'm talking chin-length). The problem is, I've struggled to find stylists who are willing to take me as short as I tell them I want to go. I've had to tell many stylists to keep going shorter, millimeter by millimeter, until I'm tired of sitting in the chair and just say it's fine. I've also had many stylists who either haven't listened or haven't been able to capture the style I want (a shaggy pageboy/bixie, NOT a blunt bob!). Cassandra was the first stylist I've had in YEARS who got it. We spent the first 15 or so minutes of my appointment on a consultation - not just me showing her photos of styles, but her asking specifically what my hair care routine is/how much time I want to spend styling, how I want it to grow out, etc. Then she took the time to bring the style to life - consulting me as she went to make sure it's where I wanted to go, and going back over places she felt needed more work. She was super focused, but also chill, funny, and easy to chat with for the hour appointment. It's been years since I felt like I haven't had to "settle" for a haircut. I will definitely be going back to Cassandra. Bonus points to the salon for just having a nice atmosphere overall.

One time we were there for over an hour as they had a new person learning to cut hair and my son sat in chair for an hour. Then they made a comment to me along the lines of "he did a good job sitting even though it says otherwise on the computer". Are you serious? He is 6 and sat in a chair for an hour while you learned to cut hair. Today my son got into the chair and the lady asked how to cut it. I said shorter and she said "I need some direction". I mean you dont have to give me attitude. Sorry I dont know the lingo of using a 2 on the sides and a 3 on top or whatever; although I highly doubt if I went in and said that she would know anyways. My son left today with a haircut that is crooked on the front and has tufts sticking out randomly. Maybe if you suggest "cut it well" that would help them. Pros : quick Cons: rude, bad at cutting hair, and costs more than a barber. We will be looking for a barber and I suggest you do the same.
