The only problem was that I had to drive to Concord or further to find spray tanning, so again I stopped. Recently, I decided to check to see if there were local businesses that offer spray tanning, and I was happy to discover a couple right in Plymouth. I decided to go with Stella for two reasons. #1 - Their website showed that they have a professionally trained person, Kristen Gilmore, dedicated to their spray tanning service. And #2 - when I called and spoke with Kristen, she was able to easily answer all of my questions and was familiar with how to work with my freckles and skin tone. I am so happy that I went with Stella Hair Boutique. Kristen was super friendly, but also very professional. When I had to strip down for her to apply the tanning solution, her manner and positivity removed any awkwardness or embarrassment on my part. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend Kristen at Stella Hair Boutique for all your spray tanning needs.

For the most part, I will let the email exchange speak for itself. I will only add that I've spoken…read moreto several other stylists who say she either didn't mix the color dark enough or didn't leave it on long enough. My original color is a medium auburn that in 3 months hadn't really faded much, and I only had a root growth of about an inch. The roots were darker with grays mixed in, and they came out strawberry blonde (so noticeably lighter than the rest of my hair). I went back in a second time (at no charge, which is why I gave her two stars) and the exact same thing happened. Oh, I don't need an explanation "of hair color," as I've had my hair colored and colored my own hair plenty of times. I was just trying to be polite. -------------- Hello, Mary, Hope you're having a good weekend. Sorry it's taken me so long to write, but things have been hectic. I wanted to let you know that the second round of coloring did the same thing as the first. After one or two washings, it turned strawberry blonde-ish just like the first time. I'm just going to leave it for now, but I'm wondering if it's something to do with the new color line you mentioned you were using?? Can you tell me the name of it and the name of the one you've used in the past? Thanks, XXXX ----------- Never changed color line it's always been Paul Mitchell We just change the formula to a lighter color to match your 5 month grow out, like you requested my recommendation is the original formula I did that you liked when I first did your hair Sent from my iPhone ------- XXXX, To my recollection, we've always just done the roots and pulled it through to the rest of my hair. I thought you said something when I was there the first time about it being a new color line by Paul Mitchell? Also, Mary, I just want to correct something you said when I was in and again in your email, it hasn't been 5 months since I had my hair colored with you. I was in on July 26, 2019 and again on October 11, 2019. That's only 11 weeks. But I honestly don't understand why that would matter. Can you please explain? Thanks! --------------- Yes I Always do the base color and pull it through the ends, but as our consultation concluded you wanted me to match the lighter color that had grown out for five months so I did not run it through the ends per your request Absolutely if you could come in at some point next week and give me 15 minutes I can give you a clear explanation of haircolor Sent from my iPhone ------------ Mary, I feel like you are blaming me for the fact that the roots don't match the rest of my hair. Am I misinterpreting your email? What I asked you to do - which is what I always ask - is to make the roots match the rest of my hair, period. When you asked about the ends, I said, "Well, I want you to trim an inch off, so do you think we need to do the ends if you're going to cut them?" Initially, you said "no" but then I went to the sink and you said you were going to do that anyway. And you cut much more than an inch off my length. (Sidenote: She wet my hair, massaged the color through and left me sitting at the sink with my head bent backward for another 10-15 minutes - she set a timer, but I couldn't see the time from where I sat. I can say that my head and neck hurt, and there was a knot on the back of my head that hurt for days.) But I'm not even talking about the ends or comparing the root color to my ends. I'm comparing the root color to the hair right after the root, wherein it should match, but there is a definitive line around the crown of my head where you can see the lighter root color and then the darker hair color. And, again, I stress that it has not been five months since you last colored my hair. It has only been 11 weeks (so not even three months)! XXX _________ I'm sorry you feel This way, Sent from my iPhone
