During this time, I also consulted with a dermatologist and began a prescribed treatment plan. Based on medical guidance, I was advised to pause additional facial and laser procedures. Because of this, I was unable to use some of the treatments I had already purchased. I reached out to the clinic to ask about options for unused services, but was informed that refunds are not provided. I was told they would follow up, but I did not receive further communication. This experience was disappointing, as I was hoping for more flexibility given the circumstances. I recommend clarifying policies in advance before purchasing treatment packages.

After a lovely wash and sit with the conditioner, where I enjoyed the peace of that lovely room, she came back and gave me the perfect haircut. She didn't try to do anything extra; she didn't try to offer me a bunch of product; she listened to my request, and made it happen. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. I told her I wanted a partial highlight and little darker root to cover my little grays showing. She said she'd do a smudge on the top and a few foils on top (because my hair was already blonde) and a toner. I also said I wanted a TRIM. Took little over 3 hrs. During this time we talked about 2 tape in extensions on the sides of my head she said the owner said $18 each and I ok'd that. Over 3 hours later when I checked out ...I was told $180 I was SHOCKED by that but thought well the color is ok and they were nice and with 2 extensions maybe price was ok. I paid and gave a very GOOD tip and left. The following Wednesday1/24/2024 (5 days layer) I get a call from a Melissa Corrive. I answer and she explains that she is owner of Parlor 7 Salon. I said ok. She said that she wanted to let me know that Kaitlyn forgot to charge me for the extensions and a treatment she did because my hair was damaged and she didn't want me to be shocked when I came in next time and it was added to my bill. WTH?!? Are you kidding me? She never said she was doing any extra treatment on my hair and for the total on the day being $180 + $30 tip I thought the extensions were in that total. Her call was RIDICULOUS .......YOUR CALLING ME TO SAY I OWE MONEY?!?! I should've known what a scam you had going when no one else came into the salon for those 3 + hours I sat there. DO NOT GO HERE AND IF YOU DO 1. Get the price up front and 2. if they call saying you owe money...Don't be surprised. I do NOT OWE YOU ANYTHING. I paid when I was done with my service. They refused even a partial refund so I had to file a complaint with my bank, which was just another hassle they added to my experience. She used Dermalogica products. Throughout the entire experience, there is relaxing spa music played and the lights are off. There is also a steamer blowing in your face (but it didn't get to the point where it was uncomfortable or annoying). Throughout the facial, she would wrap my face in a hot towel then leave and come back and/or massage the neck, arms, and hands. I had such a relaxing and soothing experience.
