I normally do not write reviews but I feel like I have to warn others about my experience here. I…read morewent to this salon on November 15, 2023 trying to save some money and booked with a level 1 stylist fresh out of cosmetology school. I deeply regret that decision. I asked for simple curtain bangs and the stylist completely butchered the right side of my hair. She told me she was fresh out of cosmetology school and it honestly showed. The cut was uneven, choppy, and way shorter than I asked for. It was so bad that I have been self conscious about my hair ever since. What makes it worse is that my hair has never been the same. I take very good care of my hair and it used to grow evenly and healthy. Three years later and that section still has not grown back properly. I have had to style around it constantly and it has been extremely frustrating. I trusted this salon and left feeling upset and embarrassed. If you care about your hair at all, I would strongly reconsider booking with a level 1 stylist here. Saving money is not worth dealing with damage that lasts for years.

Jenae was absolutely wonderful! She has such a beautiful personality, made me feel comfortable…read morethroughout my appointment, and I genuinely love the final result. I have nothing but positive things to say about her and the quality of her work. That said, I was honestly surprised by the final cost. My bill exceeded $400, which was significantly more than I anticipated, especially considering I typically pay about half that amount for similar services in California. After reviewing my receipt, I still don't fully understand the breakdown of the different charges, and I wish the pricing had been communicated more clearly upfront. I completely understand that Jenae does not control the salon's pricing, and I don't want my concerns about cost to take away from the wonderful experience she provided. My biggest hesitation is the affordability of returning regularly. At this price point, maintaining my hair every 4-6 weeks simply wouldn't be financially realistic. I'm also concerned that this was my first appointment and included a new-client discount, so I'm unsure what future visits would cost. I truly enjoyed my experience with Jenae and would love to return. I just wish the pricing were more transparent and accessible, because the unexpected expense makes it difficult to commit to ongoing appointments.

It was asked if 5/19 @ 7pm would work, I said YES! Showed up today 5/19 at 7pm to ZERO appointment on the books (and gas and time isn't cheap!). Then was told my appointment was showing Wednesday 5/20 at 5:45? Where did that come from? Zero text, zero call. Zero confirmation. Let me just say, it took all I had to keep it together. Their front desk person didn't deserve it so I remained calm. Way to ruin a teenage trying to get a simple haircut before graduation.

The owner kind of greeted me and showed me the waiting area. She offered me something to drink but the entire exchange was rushed and awkward. Overall, not impressed with the service as the entire experience felt a little forced.

I also came in for a haircut and the first thing I said was that I wear it in a ponytail every day so it needed to be long enough for that. What I got was a super short top layer, middle layer and long layer that if I wear my hair curly looks like a Christmas tree. I did not notice when I left because i asked her to blowdry it straight even though I told her I typically wear it curly every day & it looked semi okay straight, but still not what I'd asked for. I also paid $70 + tip for each service- which is more than what I was quoted when I called. I won't be back.
